After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.

She felt the strange tingle of static electricity and her fur fluffed up again, although not on purpose this time. As he drew near, she let out another keening yowl, flinching from his touch but unable to move away.
As he settled down on top of her, her cry increased in volume to become a full-out caterwaul, tears streaming down her cheeks. The horrible sound was cut off with a choking gasp. Her azure eyes widened as the coppery taste of blood filled her mouth and slid into her throat, cutting off her ability to breathe. Panicking, she clawed at her neck as if in an attempt to remove the blockage; somewhere in the back of her mind she knew that was a stupid thing to do, but that part of her (the logical part) was drowned out by complete and utter terror.
Finally the girl's horrid yowling had ceased, only to be replaced by a wonderful gurgling noise. As she suffered from his genjutsu and began clawing at her neck Xero couldn't help but shake excitedly in place of laughter. He leaned close to one of her ears, keeping away from her clawing hands. "Just give in... there's no more need for suffering..."
As he whispered, the man took the knife in his hand and rubbed it gently against the exposed skin on her shoulder. Back and forth the flat of the blade went until he slipped it underneath the shoulder strap and pulled up to sever it. Keeping the girl pinned under him he switched sides, starting the same method of teasing while she struggled against his illusion.

Despite no longer being stuck to the ground, Seiya stayed sitting, merely watching in terror. What was he doing? They were only supposed to be stealing her stuff. She'd fought a little bit but she'd stopped and no one got hurt, and Seiya hadn't really interfered the way she did with the couple so... The genin wanted to run, but felt as if it may be worse if the man didn't have her as a spectator. Perhaps her presence would make him not be so cruel. This was just supposed to be practice.

Her ear flicked as his hot breath tickled the fluff there. The choking sensation refused to relent until she dug her nails into the flesh of her neck. The girl took a long, wheezing breath, staring wide-eyed up at him. What had he done to her? A few rivulets of real blood trickled down her neck from her sharp nails, and she quivered, making no sound.
Never in her life had she felt so powerless. Just give in, he'd said. No more need for suffering. Chi went completely limp beneath him, whimpering softly. She should have just let them take her things. Maybe then she would have at least gotten to continue on her way home. But now... Who knew? His kunai ripped through the thin straps of her new dress, and a fresh wave of tears slid down her cheeks. But she didn't struggle. It would only hurt more if she did.
What Seiya failed to realize was that Xero no longer cared if she was present. Both of the girls didn't seem to know that to be prepared to fight, one must also be prepared to die. The Kusa kunoichi had dared strike against him, and that itself was a death sentence. She was now limp, quivering underneath him in fear. Pathetic. The girl must have realized her mistake, but it was too late. He couldn't leave such an act unpunished. "If you keep being good, I may just let you off with a warning." He murmured.
He slid the kunai gently across her neck, picking up some of the running blood with the blade. The man turned his mask to the side. A pair of condescending ruby colored eyes gazed into her own as he licked the knife clean. Then that hand moved downward, resting on her soft thigh. This warning would be one the girl would always remember.

Pushing herself to her feet, the girl in pink continued to watch. Perhaps running away wouldn't be such a bad idea. Her gaze drifted to the few lingering hornets in the air. Why did they not fight to protect their master? Aren't summons supposed to do that? Kind of useless. Instead of leaving herself open to be struck by another jutsu if he chose to use one, Seiya instead backed away from the scene. She could very well take this chance to escape back to her home, since he was occupied, but leaving Chiyoko-san to be subjected to whatever the rogue would put her through alone kept her in place. Hopefully Sano-san was just trying to scare the catgirl with a bluff. If not, Seiya would have to try and do something about it, not that it would likely work. But it was better than doing nothing.

The kunai touched against her neck and she squeaked, averting her eyes when he moved the mask to taste her blood. His gray eyes were frightening and contemptuous, seeming to stare down into her soul itself; the terrifying intensity of her vulnerability shook her to her very core. If she hadn't been pinned down, she would be curled into a little furry ball, sobbing.
She tensed when his hand laid flat on her thigh, but otherwise didn't move. Chi would rather have his 'warning' than death any day.
Her tail flicked against his hand, the end of it curling loosely around his wrist. It wouldn't stop him from doing anything, but...
Xero wondered just how far he would get before she started fighting him again. If that happened he would not be so gentle. When her tail found its way around his wrist, the man glanced down at it and then returned his eyes to his captive. It was her attempt at having at least some sort of control over the situation. No that wouldn't do, he needed to let her know exactly who was in charge.
He wrapped the appendage around his wrist once, tightly gripping the end and giving it a crisp tug. Then he leaned forward, sliding his hips back a little to adjust for the difference in their height. The rogue licked more blood from her nape. Following this he moved to her shoulder, biting into the soft flesh harshly. It was a primal form of stating, "You're mine."

If the regret Seiya had felt stepping foot out of the village hadn't been bad enough, it increased tenfold with every action he took. This was the man who had hurt her aniue, who was hurting a random girl for reacting the way any normal shinobi would. Other than picking her up by her neck and flinging her, he hadn't physically hurt Seiya. Yet. It was only a matter of time if she stayed with him. But she was scared that if she tried to run, she would get hurt. If she behaved like a good little girl, she'd survive. That's just how it worked.

She screeched shrilly when he tugged on her tail, removing the appendage from his wrist and tucking it against her side so he wouldn't pull it again.
Chi wiggled beneath him as his tongue lapped at the blood, wondering where Sara had gone. With the way Xero had her pinned, and because he was so much bigger than she, the girl would have a hard time seeing around him to look for her. Why she wanted to find the other girl so badly, she didn't know; clearly, she was in league with this guy, and probably wouldn't help the catgirl.
A pained yowl was ripped from her throat when his teeth sank into her shoulder, marking her flesh. But she held back her instinct to fight himl she didn't want to suffer...
Xero enjoyed the moment, finding pleasure in her cries. He closed hes eyes, teeth still pressing into the girl. He could feel her heartbeat, her breathing, the soft skin underneath his fingers, but best of all he could feel her fear.
The rogue pressed on, his hand had returned to her thigh after her tail had been removed. Quickly it found the hem of her dress and slid underneath. He found her wearing shorts under the dress, a good move if you didn't want anyone peeking while you were fighting, but it wouldn't stop someone like him.
He ground his teeth against her flesh, displeased. Skipping over the shorts, his hand made its way to her hip. He took a second to caress her before slipping his fingers over the lip of the fabric.

The screeches and horrible sounds of pain were enough to make Seiya's heart skip a few beats, and she clutched at her chest, old memories flooding her eyes. Memories of much younger days in a smaller, scary world. She didn't want to be even remotely a part of that world again. “Good little girl” or not, she couldn't just let it happen. She'd let it happen far too many times when she was too small and weak to do anything about it. When Sano's hand went inside of Chiyoko's clothes, Seiya willed herself forward.
Running up to the pair, she took care not to step on the catgirl on the ground as she grasped the fabric at the male's shoulder, trying to pull him away. Sure, he was much stronger than she was, but the girl was desperate. Though the words were silent, her breath still screamed at him to stop.

She could feel her fur fluffing up as his teeth sank further into her shoulder and his hand slipped underneath the dress. Oh god, he was really going to do that, wasn't he? Chi let out a pitiful mew, desperately trying to wriggle away. Even if she got free, she doubted she could outrun him; but she would rather he gut her than do this. She would prefer anything over this. Perhaps even death.
But no matter how hard she wriggled, she couldn't hope to free herself from his terrible grasp. When his hands met her bare skin, she caterwauled again, ears pressed flat against her head.
Then Sara was there, to her surprise, pulling on Xero's shoulder. What was she doing...?
The man took a deep breath in response to the disturbance. Seiya had the gall to openly oppose him like that, did she? That would not do. No, not in the slightest. He gripped tightly on the fabric enclosed by his fingers before ripping his hand out from underneath the dress. He cared not whether it tore as it followed his motion. It just needed to be out of the way.
With that same hand he brought the back of his fist violently against the face of the girl who was grasping him. This wasn't the first time she had tried to be sympathetic to the victim. But it was her first time physically opposing him. He would use her caring heart against her.
He took the kunai from before off of the ground, drawing it roughly across the cat-girl's bicep. "Remember Sara, her well being also depends on you." He had warned her not to try anything. Xero would match the severity of her opposition to the severity of the wounds inflicted on the girl. If things got out of hand, she might not live another day.
"And you." He turned addressing the whining girl on her back. He drew the blade across her arm once again. "Stop squirming." The command was absolute. The male stabbed the knife firmly into the ground just below her underarm. With the trouble supposedly taken care of, he would move to resume where he left off.

Seiya saw the hand with the fabric coming for her face before she could react, and it impacted hard enough to make lights dane in her eyes, sending her roughly to the ground with shuddering breaths. She clutched her face, blood seeping from underneath her fingers, teeth bared with the tears that fell. This was really going to happen, and there was nothing she could do about it. Immediately after he stabbed the girl's arm, the resulting scream piercing her ears like knives.
"Remember Sara, her well being also depends on you."
Still clutching her face, Seiya pushed herself to her feet, backing away from the pair before sinking to the ground. Despite beginning to sob, her watery emerald eyes stayed locked on Chi.
“See what happens when you step out of line, little one?”
A forgotten voice of her past echoed into her mind, and Seiya began to shake.
“Now watch as he pays for your mistake. You won't do it again, now will you?”
