After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.

As he walked up to the little stall he payed the owner for two candy apples, and once he was given them he gave one to Reina before taking a bite into his. "Mmm...so good! Sometimes I forget just how good some of these sweets are. Isn't it good Reina-san?" He asked her with a smile on his face as he thought about what they could do next, if she wanted something to remember this trip...then perhaps that might just be the perfect thing! "Oh hey, how about we get a picture taken? I bet it would help remember your time here than something like a figurine or something eh? I know a photo studio we can go to just further down the street. C'mon!" He excitedly said as he pulled her along with him.

It was very polite of her blonde companion to purchase a candy apple for her. "Thank you, Okami-chan," she said, taking a big old bite out of it and munching slowly, savoring the sweetness. "Mmm, this is really good! Probably one of the best I've ever had." And she wasn't lying; the apple was fantastic. The vendor beamed at her, and she gave him a smile and a wave in return as they walked off.
"You aren't a mind reader, are you?" she asked, amused. He had managed to pinpoint exactly what was on her mind. Reina didn't protest as he dragged her along, figuring that he was just a little overexcited.

"Mind reader? Nah, I'm not that accurate. Just think of it as...really really good instincts. Plus we are family, we should be able to tell what we're thinking anyway right?" The boy said with a chuckle as they entered the studio and he paid for the smallest package they had. The photographer soon led them to a small area where they could post for the shot. "So you two a young couple looking for some fine memories?"
The wolf's cheeks began to flush a little as he held his hands up in protest. "Uh no no, we're cousins actually, she's visiting from far away and wanted a picture to remember me by. Um, why don't we just uh, stand next to each other like this?" The wolf said, trying to hold back a stutter as he firmly planted his feet next to Reina as the photographer shrugged his shoulders and began taking the pictures. "Now say cheese."

Reina was amused that the photographer thought they were a couple. Well, to be fair, she didn't exactly look twenty-six, what with her stature. It was a perfectly normal assumption to make. The fact that it seemed to embarrass Okami-chan made her giggle.
She wasn't going to take any of this 'just stand together' nonsense. No, she put her arm around the blonde and dragged him close, sending him a Look that meant he'd damn well better go along with it and put his arm around her too. Then she gave a brilliant smile to the camera, waiting for the man to start snapping pictures.

His head tilted and his eyes were averted to Reina as he heard her giggle before her arm was suddenly put around Okami's neck. He quickly caught the look in her eyes and chuckled lightly as he wrapped his arm around her neck while the photographer asked them to say the magic words of photography. "Cheeeeeese!" A bright flash shone in their eyes as the photographer clicked away on his camera, taking pictures from different angles and in different light until he was satisfied. "There we go. Would you like some more or are you two happy with what we've gotten so far?" said the old man with a bright smile on his face as he replaced the film in his camera while Okami turned to his relative. "What do you think? Think you got enough for an album of memories or not~?"

Reina surveyed the reel of photographs, her smile never leaving her face. "I think these are absolutely perfect. Thank you." After inquiring about a larger package, Reina immediately forked over the cash for the extra pictures, including a larger one that she intended to frame and hang behind the bar at her restaurant. It would take a while for the pictures to develop, the photographer said, but they would be done if they stopped by in the evening. The woman thanked him again and dragged Okami out of the studio to let an actual young couple enter for their own set of photos.

Agreeing that they indeed looked pretty fantastic Okami went along with Reina and promised that they would be back for them. Once outside and asked where they should head next the wolf boy's brain went to work listing different places in the village they could check out next. "Hm...well we could check out the area where I do a little bit of secret training. Or we could check out my place instead. What do ya say Reina-san? Which sounds more pleasing to you?"

Reina considered the blonde’s question for a moment. “I’d like to see your training area; I might not be an official shinobi that belongs to a village, but I still need to keep my skills sharp while I’m here.” Maybe she could interest dear Okami-chan in a spar, and see how strong her little cousin was. Perhaps they could both learn something from each other.
“I’m sure you have some impressive skills, Okami-chan. Do you have anything exciting you could show me when we get to the training area?” she inquired, looking up at him.

Training field was it? "Alright then, its up in the mountains, hope you don't mind a hike." He said with a smile as he held her hand and lead her through the village. As they walked out of the shops and housing and made their way up the mountains he looked back at her as she asked if he could show her anything special he might have learned during training. "Well...its not something I picked up in training, rather learned I had it in me all along but..." Letting go of her hand he focused his chakra into its palm, soon his hand was coated in pink crystals that shone in the light of day. "Crystal style ninjutsu, basically what makes me "special" around here."
The boy had a grin which erupted into a full blown smile as he saw his training spot up ahead. "And here we are! My personal little spot in all of Iwakagure.?" In front of them was a large circular area with crystal pillars dotting the sides.
