After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
OOC Name: GEEK Character name & profile: Nara Takeshi, Not yet made
Details: I would like to request three things:
Allow me to edit the Nara clan to add that that they must start with the following three Special Techniques on their profile regardless of rank: Intellectually Gifted, Chakra Control and Shadow Element. This would allow genin to start with three abilities, but also lock them on what they're capable of doing based on the clan's characteristics. Academy Students would obviously be the exception to this. These three abilities would act as prerequisites for anyone to use the shadow techniques.
I formally request permission to have my genin start with a B Ranked technique due to her position as the future Nara Clan leader. I will be making her a year or two older than the baseline for genin, so I plan to have had her been a genin for a couple of years already.
Please allow me to make an edit to the Nara clan to add that their Shadow Ninjutsu falls under "Path of Mind" due to the complex nature of shadow control.
I look forward to hearing back soon! Please and thank you!

I'm saying no to that first part. I dislike the idea of a clan where everyone has to be smart and have good control. Also the shadow element isn't a thing, so I don't know why you'd ask that. It can be stated in the clan description they tend to have those abilities, but by no means am I allowing any Nara genin to have three special abilities right off the back just cause.
Genin can have a B rank, only by dropping two of her C-rank jutsu in exchange.
I'm fine with that last part, I suppose. We'll see what the others think.
“I SAW MY NAME. I agree with Rambles on the first one, that's a solid no. It's too restricting on any new members who come along wanting to join the Nara clan. As for the third option, I think I'm okay with that being considered mind. It's a very intricate technique after all and you need superb control to utilize it. So that's a yes from me on the last bit.”
i disagree on both parts, the first for obvious reasons, and the shadow jutsu is a hijutsu. that's like saying you have to go down/master a path to have your clan's techniques.as in you have to be soul path to know sharingan and you have to be a body path for inuzuka, l ike Rambs said, it'd just limit people and almost render the whole path idea useless, but I'm only one person so my idea isn't the law its an opinion.
“The way I was seeing it as rather than a Nara needing to be path of mind, the jutsu itself is path of mind. My Kamizuru clan jutsu are secondary path and not primary, it would be the same concept I would think.”
