After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
Okami sports golden blonde hair that he let grow out as a child so that it reaches the nape of his neck and is relatively spiked down save for the back that turns away from his head. There is also the fact that his bangs part to the right of his face and end up covering his right eye.
Moving onto the face he also sports ocean blue eyes with thin eyebrows topping them off. Right in between them is a big scar heading diagonally left and just barely scraping the top of his average sized nose. Giving his young face a more mature and grown-up look to it, and possibly adds a bit of badassery in the mix as well.
His skin is a nice pale color with some hints of starting a slight tan when he's out in the sun so long. Talking about his body he sports a nice height of five foot ten with a healthy body. Constant workouts and training has kept him in a rather toned and athletic with a good amount of muscle all around with most of it contributing to his weight that he watches to make sure it doesn't hinder him in anyway.
As far as terms of clothing goes Okami prefers something that feels comfortable rather than looking uniform and well dressed, which often leads him to alter some of his professional clothing to fit nicely on him. In terms of casual clothing he often wears loose fitting shirts and pants, of course he will forget about wearing a shirt sometimes, he likes a little breeze around his skin, however one accessory of clothing he is always seen wearing is a pair of black finger-less gloves, they're actually his favorite piece of clothing and doesn't go anywhere without them. One other accessory is a belt filled with pouches for all of his tools. Oh what about his headband you say? He likes to wear it around his right bicep, he says it feels odd wearing it around his head, go figure.
Personality
Okami's a young man who's always got a bit of a smirk on his face and lot of playfulness behind him. He's generally in a rather good mood most of the time and enjoys having some good ol' fun with anyone who's offering or willing to share and join in on it. In a lot of cases he's usually the one who's first to the party and helps liven things up. He just really likes to have a very good time.
Another way for him to have some fun is following the good old teachings of leap before you look. He's always willing to delve into the unknown even without any concern for himself, which many can view of recklessness which is true to a point. He can also be a bit cocky when he's dealing with things, although he does try to back it up since while he may tackle the mysterious without learning about it before hand he does enjoy learning through first-hand experience.
While he may seem like a strong kind of person, albeit both a little brave and crazy, he is in no way a saint. Sure he can prove that his is loyal to an extent to others he's also a bit of a sarcastic little brat. One who also shows an aggressive side when he needs to be or when he goes off the deep end when he's seriously ticked about something.
On lighter notes the boy has a large natural curiosity of things and doesn't mind pursuing after them, especially if its something that sounds exciting to him. With such a curiosity in him and the courage to follow it through he can be a bit stubborn to abandon his quest to find out as much as possible about said object before leaving it behind. Sometimes its not even a pursuit of knowledge to him, sometimes he just likes being an adrenaline junkie and trying out some rather dangerous things.
History
age 0-7; Okami was born as a single child to an Uzumaki woman who had settled into Iwakagure recently due to the chaos of the world and married an Iwakagure man. At an early age the boy was always found watching the shinobi of the village whenever he passed them by. From watching them walk down the street to seeing some of the older kids who went to the academy train and talk about how they will be the best of the village. His fascination did not go unnoticed as his mother had started to notice her son an the object of his curiosity, so it wasn't long until he was enrolled into the ninja academy.
age 8-12; Within his four years at the academy Okami gave his studying and practice a hundred and twenty percent along with his fellow classmates who were enthusiastic as he was. He slowly began to show great potential as a shinobi during his later years in the academy, which slowed down a little bit during the current fighting of the world that his studies slowed down a bit for safety reasons.
age 13-18; As peace slowly returned to the world so did young Okami's drive to prove himself more as a shinobi once he graduated from the academy and became a full fledged genin. He soon found himself on a squad of his own and got along pretty well with his teammates. They all became close friends with one another and gained the respect of their leader and would often spend their free time hanging out together. It was a pretty good life he spent with them and he couldn't ask for anything more.
Of course he could ask for a better life, hile he was training Okami had heard news about the latest Chūnin Exams taking place and wondered if it would be possible to partake in them. There was no way he was going to let himself stay a Genin forever and with the approval of his sensei he and his teammates managed to apply for the exams
The exams were tough but he managed to pull through thanks to all of the training he had received up until now. It was even during the exams that he found himself with a strength he never new he had, the Shouton element that manifested during a battle between him and a Konohana Genin that almost got the upper hand on him. Once they were over he was made a Chūnin and continued to hone his skills and assist others in missions up to the present day.

Special Abilities:
i. Shouton: Okami possesses the rare kekkei genkai of the crystal release element Shouton that was once used in his family from his father's side. With it the boy can create dense crystal that has lethal cutting power when sharpened to a point, it serves as both a great defense as well as offense. While he may not have a good mastery of it he has trained enough to make it lethal in the very least and has a fairly above moderate understanding of its properties and uses. With his understanding he uses it in a rather mix way of long and short range combat, medium range if you want to call it that as he likes to cover his bases in combat.
ii. Uzumaki Heritage: His mother is of Uzumaki decent and just like her he has a strong and healthy body that can take a lot of punishment as well as recover much faster than your average person. Of course that doesn't mean that one is impervious to pain, too much can be a bad thing for Okami himself but he doesn't think too much about it as he rushes into battle.
iii. Large Chakra Reserves: Through the course of constant training and spars with comrades in order to prefect each other's techniques as well as some blessings from his family's genetics Okami has found himself with a large surplus of available chakra. With such a large amount at his disposal Okami can use a number of jutsus longer than the average shinobi as well as put more power behind them by putting more chakra into them.
iv. Chakra Enhanced Strength: After getting his ass kicked by a woman with immense strength he went to some older more experienced shinobi on how to improve his own strength which led him to the art of buffing his personal strength with his own chakra.
