After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
Hearing of bears snd boars made the girl's eyes shine. The meat of both animals was rich and delicious. Bear hide was usefull and was a great matterial. The heads of both animal was a desired trophy in the loving rooms of nobelmen and rich people. The bones were nice crafting materials even if it was not easy to work with.
Yet, the girl was far away from her clan and having all that meat go bad was sad. She could smoke it to have it good for a few weeks but... She wasnt sure. It would be hard to carry all the way back. Sure if Tiarra could go mega size for longer it would be easier but her normal timd limit is 2 hours, after thst she needs to rest a lot and becomes very hungry.
"Yuu, from the area you're talking about, how long would it take you to go to the village and back? In case we do encounter bears or boars, it would be a great amount of food for my family but carrying it back would be annoying.... I'll need something to help me take it back.... "

Yuu didn't miss a beat.
“About half a day if I move at a reasonable pace. Are you capable of using object sealing scrolls?”

"About half a day if I move in a reasonable pace." So it was about 30 kilometers from the village, far enough, it would surely burn time but would also let her the time to cook, yet it ws still somehow far. "Are yoru capable of using object sealing scrolls?" This question had the girl's cheeks burn in a bright pink color of shame. There were so many things she was unable to do... She was unable to walk on water or walls, she couldn't control her venom when touched by men who aren't blood relatives of her and she couldn't even dry herbs. Even her sister could dry them! Of course she wasn't able to use the scrolls. She knew that some of the people in the camp could, that's what helped them move from place to place with ease. A question started forming in the girl's mind and she chose to voice it, it was a good and reasonable question after all.
"No, but if one person created the scroll, can a different one use it?"
"No, but if one person created the scroll, can a different one use it?"
The look on her face told the Kamizuru what he needed to know without her even needing to speak.
“I'll bring some scrolls with me and teach you how to use the technique. You've taught me plenty of useful things, it's only fair I return the favor.”
Shifting his grip on his bag, Yuu looked up at the sky, gauging the direction they were traveling by the sun. They'd be there in about two hours, give or take, if they kept moving at this pace.

Yuu offered the ginger to teach her how to use scrolls. It was a nice offer that made her excited. Her eyes sparkled. The girl loved learning new things.
"Sound like a plan to me!" she said with a big smile on her face. Than an idea came to mind. A favor to ask if to be more specific. "Oh! If you will go ti the village, would you please bring back some pretty candles and baking ingredients? My sister will have her birthday on the first day of autman... Having a cake for her will be great!"
"Sound like a plan to me! Oh! If you will go ti the village, would you please bring back some pretty candles and baking ingredients? My sister will have her birthday on the first day of autumn... Having a cake for her will be great!"
Baking... supplies... This girl asked the wrong person. What went in cake? Flour, eggs, milk... sugar... frosting... um... yeah, that should be enough. It would probably be better to bring an actual cake.
“Ah, yeah, I can do that. Uh, would you prefer if I brought an actual cake?

That was an interesting question. "I don't think so." she answered giving the idea another thought. "Flour, some baking powder and frosting, maybe cocoa powder.... that should be it. If i get an actual cake now, it'll go bad until Aii's birthday. It's more than 3 weeks ahead..." she told the boy. After all, they had a large supply of mink and eggs at the camp, after all, they did have some cattle, goats, sheep and chicken.
"But if you decide to just bring some candy for the rest of out 'field trip' to use as a nice snack i really don't mind." came out of the ginger's mouth. The girl loved candy. Anything sweet was going to make her very happy and as a nomad, sweets that weren't fruit or berries didn't come often. Looking at the sky the girl realized that it has already been some time that they were staying at the spot. "How about we go see how the traps worked?" she offered. She was teaching the boy earlier and sure he was a fast and a good learner. She just wanted to make sure that if there were any mistake that ended up leaving them without meat for lunch, she'll be able to point them out at the spots so that in the future it'll be less likely he'll do them. Hunting is a useful skill after all.

There was powder for baking? Did it have a name? Geez. Yuu hoped Okami would be around, he could drag the wolf into helping him find the materials. Okami could cook. Yuu couldn't remember Okami ever baking a cake but... same thing, right?
"But if you decide to just bring some candy for the rest of our 'field trip' to use as a nice snack I really don't mind."
“Aha... that might be easier for me,” he admitted with a nervous laugh.
"How about we go see how the traps worked?"
Yuu nodded in agreement and split away from her to check the traps he'd set. Most of the traps were empty, but in one trap he could hear frantic bleating before he even came into sight. He recognized the spotted pelt of a fawn, a foreleg trapped in the bamboo. The last joint of the leg was trapped inside the hollow of the bamboo and the tiny animal couldn't pull loose. Nearby the mother paced, and it was clear the stress levels increased when Yuu arrived.
Yuu momentarily considered shooting the animal. Young venison would be a good shared meal. But, it would have felt wrong to him. The medic approached the young fawn carefully, an eye on the mother, before reaching the fawn. He straddled the animal to keep it stabilized while he pulled the trap apart, its bleating ringing in his ears. Once he got the foreleg freed, he examined it. It was swollen and bleeding, and the fawn struggled. Shifting his grip tighter around the creature, Yuu set about healing the injury. Once he was satisfied, he let the fawn go, where it proceeded to flail and flop on its side before finding its footing and bounding after its mother, both deer disappearing from sight. Collecting the trap, Yuu sighed. Nothing on his end. Empty-handed, he returned to the place where he'd split away from Lien. Jutsu Used: Shousen no Jutsu [Mystical Hand Technique]

Lien wasnt to far away from Yuu when he saw the animals. She was wondering what will he do. Seeing him not only let the small fawn go, but also treated it's leg that was damwged by the trap. She was pleased. When he headed back she met him with clapping hands.
"Good job! Not only that you menaged to create a trap that would hold in place an animal much bigger than its meant to, you also showed mercy to it." She spoke with joy in her voice. "If my perants were to see you now, they would definatly think you're a good guy." She added soin after.
It was a law in their clan. Only kill for food. Only hunt as much as you need. Don't ever take unnecessary lives and never kill a child in front of a perant. If you're hunting, and its a must, kill the mother. If the small animal can't take care of itself nurse it untill it xan and send it away. Respect nature, no matter what, you most respect the nature.
just like the bot, Lien didn't get anything. "only fruits and vegetables." she replied "But it's ok! we had plenty of meat and fish those past few days." she added after a short moment. They could do without meat and fish for a day. They were doing to have a veggie lunch.
There was no real point to looking for a place to camp any more so the girl choose to have the food where they were. Using the dried pumpkins she got earlier in the journey she sat down to cook chopping all the vegetables into the larger one and adding a small bit of water, they would cook nicely and once the water evaporates it would be done. The fruits they had she cut into medium sized pieces and placed into the smaller pumpkin. a fruit salad for desert would do wonders.
Fruits and vegetables sounded nice. It wasn't as if Yuu was used to having meat every day. As always, the food she made was delicious (except for that soup with the egg). The fruit was juicy as well and proved to be a satisfying and refreshing dessert. Helping Lien clean up from their meal, the pair set off again. It wouldn't take them long to reach the location, and forty-five minutes later, the somewhat marshy area came into view. A lot of animal sounds were in earshot, the fertility of this area quite audible.
“This place ought to be what we're looking for.”

The meal was over and the two set out. It wasnt long untill they have reached an area that suited the description of a place where then can potentially find the flower they are looking for. The animal activity was obvious. There were bird sound everywhere, bugs were crawling around in large groups, and foot prints were visible here and there. Knowing the children of her clan, she knew that if she was to bring them here they would go and try catch butterflies and beetles, making competitions between themselves and then letting their findings go.
She agreed with Yuu, there was a high potential for this area. Now it was time to go searching. "It's past the blooming season so even if there are any herbs here, finding them will be hard. Lets keep our eyes wide open, okay?"
The terrain in this area was odd, and Yuu helped Lien down ledges as they made their way deeper into the marshy territory. The sounds of insects, frogs, and birds were reaching impressive volume levels the deeper they went in, and occasionally their feet sank in the mud. This was one of those few times Yuu knew that sandals were not always the way to go.
“Got an idea where we begin?” Yuu asked once they were a good ways in and on a raised, solid patch of ground. There was a large tree on this plot of dry ground as well as some bulging boulders that made good places to sit. Because of the marshy area, the boulders were covered in moss and this made them soft.
“We should probably stick together for this one.”

The help offered by the boy was appreciated and Lien gladly took his hand when offered. She could have helped herself but getting help was more convenient, made her happy and alowed them to move faster. When they were finally out of the mud, she felt sorry for Yuu, he had open shinobi shoes that made it harder and less pleasant to move around. Sitting down on one of the broken logs she sank into thoughts. He was right that they should stick together, it was an area where she could navigate simply using the mud to leave trucks, she could offer Yuu to do the same if they were to split up. Yet, she was unfamiliar with this kind of an area. It acted like a swamp in many parts and would be dangerous to get stuck in the mud alone. For the safety of both of them, it's best to stick tigether.
She looked at Yuu and got an idea. "Lets rest for a short while, I'll send Tiarra to scout one of the directions. You can wash your feet for now and later we will go search depanding on Tiarra's findings. To have the way 'cleaner' we will use the trees as a road." By the sime Lien was done with her 'speach', the tarantula was already gone.
~~~~~~~~ Feel free to to take charge of Tiarra if you wish.
