After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.

Wildflowers? More like the needle in the metaphorical haystack. Last year there had been a crop of mallow growing here, but it was overrun with similar-looking creeping ivy now. Why couldn't he choose simpler tasks for himself? No. He needed mallow. Finally locating the herb among more common weed, the medic cut several stalks. The season was wrong for flowers but the rest of the plant was still useful. The tail of his bow scraped the ground when he crouched, severing a thicker one at the root with his knife. Yuu was a bit of a distane away from the village; it had been a half-day trek to get out to this area and frankly stopping to eat something would be nice. He'd set up some traps nearby, he ought to see if anything was caught in any of them.

The crescendo of large flapping wings could be heard for a great many feet, long before the creature ever roosted upon the soft earthen soil. Upon landing, the creature's large leathery wings began to appear as though disintegrating, evaporating into ash. However as they slowly evaporated they instead moved to wrap around his body, instead changing form and before long becoming a solid cloak around his form.
It was a hooded cloak that well covered his features. I dropped down to just above his ankles and moved with his form, swaying with his movements, like any ordinary cloak. No flaps on the cloak resembled the wings of an avian creature of the night what so ever, and the only visible part of his body were his feet, covered in shinobi-edition closed boots, and the lower portion of his pale face down from his nose. If one looked within the hood though, within the darkness they would be able to see the two glimmering golden orbs that were his eyes in this state.
Urami had chosen to take on a much less conspicuous form today. He knew a potential asset was near his location and he would much rather approach it without startling it, which would perhaps be why he chose to hide his wings, horns, and tail. Instead he'd approach the direction of the medic in a form much more human, and upon coming close, his voice, sounding almost as if like a loud whisper, would ring out, "Can you tell me what is it that makes Tsuchi no Kuni so grand?"

It didn't take long for the Kamizuru to realize someone was approaching, and he stood up straight from his crouching position, plants still dangling from his gloved grip. It was a hooded figure, with glowing yellow eyes. Something about this person made Yuu's hair stand on end, but he separated the plants in his hands and stuffed the keepers into the bag.
"Can you tell me what is it that makes Tsuchi no Kuni so grand?"
Yuu wasn't sure what he was expecting, but it wasn't a question like that. The medic needed to take a moment to think about the answer that question, if he could even give an answer the male was looking for. Instead of babbling like an idiot, however, he returned the question with another question.
“What do you mean?”
