After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
Shunshin [Body Flicker] D-rank|| Ninjutsu || Short to Mid-Range || Supplementary
A basic ninjutsu technique used across the eternity of the shinobi world. This technique allows the user to perform a single instance of high-speed movement, at velocities so extreme that to the untrained eye it appears as if the user teleports away. Skilled combatants are able to track the user's movements as long as they maintain a line of sight, and thus many combine this technique with some sort of distraction to alleviate this issue.
SPECIAL NOTE: One cannot attack during this high-speed movement provided by this attack; they must first slow back down to their normal speed before taking any other actions. This movement occurs in a linear path over a distance of no greater than ten meters.
Soushuriken [Manipulate Shuriken] D-rank|| Ninjutsu || All Ranges || Supplementary
With this technique a length of string or wire is attached to a shuriken, making it possible to alter its path after having thrown it. An expert will have the ability to freely glide the shuriken in any direction with just a single movement of their fingertip. The first attack, challenging the enemy, is avoided and after a time-lag of several seconds, it will come from behind. Generally shinobi who use this skill utilize simple sleight-of-hand tricks to conceal the string or wire connected to their projectiles.
Kage Shuriken no Jutsu [Shadow Shuriken Technique] D-Rank|| Ninjutsu || Mid-Long Range || Offensive, Supplementary
The shinobi using this technique simultaneously throws two shuriken at a foe; one of said projectiles is angled such that it hides in the shadow of its partner, thus creating the illusion of a single shuriken. Opponents unaware of the deception focus on defending against the one shuriken they can see, and can be caught off guard by the deceptive attack.
Oboro Bunshin [Haze Clone] D-Rank|| Ninjutsu || Short to Mid-Range || Supplementary
This techniques creates clones in a manner akin to that of the original bunshin technique, only producing dozens of illusory doppelgangers as opposed to a handful. As these clones lack physical mass that cannot effect their environments. As they are slightly more advanced than clones produced by the parent technique, Oboro Bunshin do not dispel when hit; instead, object merely phase through their bodes. The number of replicas produced by this technique allows the user to confuse targets and slink in through the mass of illusions to deliver a decisive blow.
A powerful jutsu intended to call forth aid when in dire need, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon forth being with which he or she has formed a contract. One need merely form a quick series of hand seals and slam their open palm into the ground, along with a small offering of blood. From the seal that rapidly spreads across from the user's hand emerges whatever creatures he or she has formed contracts with, ranging from intelligent animals of enormous size to even fellow shinobi. The amount of chakra expended through this technique depends on the power of the summoned entity; additionally, a character must have a signed summoning contract in order to call forth any creatures.
Whereas Kuchiyose allows a shinobi to summon contracted creatures to his location, this technique allows summons to call forth humans to their location. Contracted summons can also use this technique to call themselves to the contract-signers location without need of the Kuchiyose. Similar to its counterpart, the amount of chakra a summon performing this technique needs to expend is dependent no the strength of the shinobi.
A Ninjutsu technique that involves aiming a barrage of kunai or similar item at one precise spot. The user releases chakra from their hand over an area within which they can maintain the kunai in suspension. As a result, the enemy may get blindsided and denied any escape route at the same time. With a simple hand movement, the user is able to fire all the kunai at once. Once the jutsu has been activated, the user cannot preform any other technique and must keep their hands open and slightly raised to maintain control of their weapons/items
Kai [Release] C-Rank|| Ninjutsu || Defensive
Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell. In order to preform this skill one must first recognize the presence of a genjutsu altering their perceptions.
The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. As such both the user and his clones each have roughly the same amount of chakra at their disposal, though upon destruction the clones' remaining chakra is returned back to the original. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added.
SPECIAL NOTE: Only character of Jōnin-rank or higher may start with this technique. No more than five clones can be created through each use of this technique.
Konbi Henge is a Ninjutsu that allows two shinobi to transform themselves temporarily into another living being or inanimate object. While in this form they can use the physical characteristics of the one they are impersonating. Both users must know this technique in order to use it, and the fused entity they make up is only capable of using techniques that both shinobi know to to perform.
Hari Jizō [Needle Jizō] B-Rank|| Ninjutsu || Short-Range || Defensive
This is a technique where the user encases themselves in a countless number of sharp needles, but in truth, the spikes are the user's hair. Chakra grants the strands of hair the hardness and shape of needles, endowed with a capacity to injure and kill on par with that of metallic weapons. In addition, if activated in response to an opponent's attack, it can also be used as a counter. The hair is made hard enough that it can withstand blows from certain types of more basic weapons, arrows included.
SPECIAL NOTE: User must have long hair to begin with.
This technique uses chakra to temporarily enhance the head's metabolism and manipulate the hair that grows longer as a result of it. There is also chakra flowing through the lengthened hair, making its hardness comparable to that of steel wire. By thickly bundling the hair, its strength is further increased, also increasing its destructive power. Its name stems from the fact that just before striking it's target, the hair takes the shape of what resembles a lion's mouth.
SPECIAL NOTE: User must have long hair to begin with.
Bunshin Bakuha is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by those who are advanced in the knowledge of clone techniques. The clone looks like a normal shadow clone, which allows the user to get it close to the target without them expecting anything besides a normal attack, or the target might even close in willingly to try to attack the clone. Using multiple tricks and diversionary tactics to disguise the nature of the clone can make this technique more likely to be effective. Users are unable to reclaim any chakra in this Kage Bunshin; additionally, only one such clone can be summoned at any time. Prerequisite: Must know Kage Bunshin
This technique takes the core concept of Kage Bunshin and applies it to inanimate objects, which are far easier to replicate due to their lesser complexity. A single thrown projectile, be it a shuriken or kunai instantaneously multiples into a wave of up to thirty such weapons. As these replicas are physical constructs as opposed to illusions, each of these clones are just as deadly as the original. Because the clones form in just an instant, completely evading them is next to impossible. This technique can also be used on fūma shuriken, increasing its lethality.
Meisai Gakure no Jutsu is an advanced Ninjutsu technique created for stealth purposes. After forming the needed handseals, the shinobi will summon a large amount of visually altering chakra, strong enough to coat their bodies and take effect within moments of being summoned. With this, the user can grant themselves near invisibility, which can be sustained even when motion or minimal contact occurs. Only chakra sensing methods have been shown to pierce through the chakra-induced camouflage.
