After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.

Characteristics
Within the Tsubasa it is extremely rare for children to be born where as their hair, no matter what color it initially was, doesn't fade to ivory within a few days of being born. The same is true for their eye color, only this fades much slower and usually changes entirely crimson by the child's fifth birthday.
Furthermore Tsubasa are incapable of attaining bulk on their body. Due to some sort of chromosomal disorder the members of this clan are incapable of attaining body builder builds or even healthy eater builds. It is unknown as to what causes this, but it is quite evident that it doesn't affect their strength, or lack of, in any shape or form.
Another distinguishing feature of the Tsubasa clan is their ritual of rites. Once the younger generation passes a trial to become identified as adults, they are given tattoos wherever they please with the clan's symbol. Most choose to put this on their shoulder while others may be more discreet.
background
The first known appearance of the Tsubasa Clan dates back farther than most of anyone can even remember in the tales and legends. It dates back to the time of the war between Indra and Ashura, the sons of the great Rikudo. The Tsubasa were known at the time a peace keepers. They refused to become involved in the conflict and thus fled from the scenes of battle. Eventually this led them to inhabiting the treacherous terrains of the lands that would one day become Tsuchi no Kuni.
As time passed and the shinobi villages formed, the Tsubasa continued to remain on the side lines. Their history as pacifists remained strong and while they formed now a decently known village, known for its pottery and other clay based exports, it also became known as a village of misfortune. While the people of the village continuously managed to always bounce back from whatever misfortune befell them, be that famine, disease, or conflict, never once did they ever seem to experience a time of true tranquility.
At least not until the start of the Fourth Great Shinobi World War. At the start of this war, many peoples all flocked together in order to combat the threat that was known at the time as Madara Uchiha. The Tsubasa refused to participate. They had heard the rumors. They heard that he would bring them peace, and they couldn't exactly say they disagreed. The Tsubasa would take any route to peace that came their way, however if it meant blood shed they would not actively pursue it.
For a brief moment there was a sense of peace for the clan. The moon shone brightly and everything seemed alright, however that peace soon shattered and before long the clan discovered the horrible truth. In the end many of the clan became distraught enough with this unspeakable horror that they vowed to never allow themselves to experience it again. Those few soon moved away from the village towards Iwagakure where they began to start a new life. However many remained behind, and those that did continued to live with the same strife as before, only now they fought back.
For half a century after the war the clan continued to wage endless wars with nearby smaller villages. Many of their own died, and many of their own killed. The children of misfortune were becoming stained with blood, and the more carnage that was created, the more members of the clan grew tired of it all. Before long, perhaps sixty years after the great war, the clan just grew tired of it. They had no choice at this point. Conflict continued to come right to their doorstep and it wouldn't be until eighty years after the war when the most recent clan leader took over, that the clan would at long last move to Iwagakure to join the others. It would only be then that they would finally be able to rest.
legacy of power
The Tsubasa possess a unique line of jutsu known as Hiden Jutsu. These techniques allows members of the clan to 'refine' the element of doton from just plain earth into clay. As such members of the clan can create clay clones and clay golems using these techniques. Hell they can even create winged creatures that can attach to their back and grant them flight. These techniques are known as the "Clay Purification" or "Nendo Seisei".
As for why someone would want to use clay based techniques, clay is malleable and capable of many uses. While in earth form something is thoroughly capable of harming a target through brute force, in clay form it is capable of sticking to them, weighing them down, and possibly sticking them to other surfaces. In some cases, it can even multiply (like rabbits).

By kneading a small amount of chakra into clay the user creates a small creature, usually a bird of sort, that will accept any previously written letter and carry it to its destination. This creature cannot withstand attack from shinobi, nor can it stand being struck by lightning.
An offensive technique in which the user molds clay into the shape of a shuriken (any size within reason to user's skill). The user will then throw said shuriken, however, instead of dealing piercing or slashing damage like regular shuriken, these will splatter and cover any surface they hit in a thick blob of clay. If used right it can stick a target to another surface.
The user kneads chakra in their gullet before spitting it out in a more liquid clay form, which then takes on their likeness to the point of even having color. The clone is then able to, if utilized skillfully, take their place on the battlefield. On the battlefield it is limited to doton techniques, however that isn't its sole purpose. If the enemy hits this clone with a physical attack the clone will splatter to the point that enemy's limb may be stuck within the clone's body. The clone at that point grabs the enemy's limb and attempts to further prohibit any sort of movement.
Consuming a bit more chakra than it's counterpart. This technique enables the user to form a clay messenger creature that will actually takes the message into it body, infused with chakra. This message will then only be revealed to someone whom knows the release command, typically another Tsubasa clan member. This type of messenger can withstand more damage than its counterpart.
If the messenger is destroyed by any means then the message will reveal itself on the clay, however scrambled.
The user molds their chakra into a small amount of clay and then places it in a desired area. The user can then remotely activate a trap that will spring clay cords upwards to wrap around a desired target and restrain them. 30 ft range (user), 2 ft range (target)
DOTON: NENDO KEIHAI [EARTH STYLE: CLAY UNDERLING] C RANK || NINJUTSU || DOTON || RANGE || USE
Using clay, one can create up to five underlings to command. The underlings, although they cannot do much damage on their own without being combined with extra sort of chakra, these cute 2 ft tall creatures can use their clay bodies to ensnare and trip up a target. Ranges from 1/2 ft tall to 2 ft tall. Capable of basic movements, and gestures, such as hopping up into the target's face, ect.
Like its counterpart Rock Golem, the user expels a clay-like substance from their mouth which then forms into a large 5-8ft golem (depends on user, beginner can only bring forth 5ft). This golem takes the shape of a sort of dragonic knight with no weapons. It specializes in hand-to-hand combat, albeit only at a basic genin-level, can be used as a medium for other justu (such as bakuton, katon, ect...) Much like clay clone, if attacked it can take the enemy into it's body to immobilize them at cost of its own mobility.
This is a special genjutsu in which the user activates by catching the desired targets in a cloud of light grey clay dust expelled from the mouth (one must be wary of wind currents as the direction the dust will blow depends much on it). Once caught in the genjutsu the target will see themselves as being surrounded by innumerable clay minions that seem to seep up from the earth. If attacked they only multiply. One after another the clay minions will attack the victim, and the victim will eventually see themselves become completely covered in a mass of clay and feel as if suffocating within the genjutsu.
After placing a large sum on clay in their mouth, the user will then concentrate their chakra into the clay as they perform the Dog | Ram | Tiger | Dragon | Snake hand seals. After the last hand seal is performed the user will expel the clay from their mouth with will burst forth as if one had opened the gates of a dam. The clay will then form a colossus (40 foot tall minion) in the shape of the user's choosing. This colossus will then fight for them, albeit with rather slowed movements, its attacks are quite powerful. Like all other of the clay techniques this can be used to entrap an enemy, however without losing its mobility.
If someone manages to cut the colossus down it will reduce half of its overall height and become two separate beings. This will continue to happen the more the colossus is cut apart until it reaches the size of a 2 ft tall minion.
The clay created from this technique can be used as a medium for other techniques once this one has ended. The Titan itself cannot use any techniques.
Titan can be cut in half five times before the pieces splatter onto whatever is near them and fall lifeless. Meaning if a piece is cut so when it regenerates it would have been smaller than 2ft it will die.
DOTON: OKI TENSHI NO HIKŌ [EARTH STYLE: FLIGHT OF THE SERAPH] A RANK || NINJUTSU || DOTON || ALL RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
While weaving the necessary hand seals the user kneads the necessary doton chakra in their gullet before, upon striking the final hand seal, expelling a large glob of clay into the air which will then reform itself to sprout the wings of a falcon. It also forms its body in the middle into a strange contraption that has three prongs on either side of its body to latch onto the user comfortably as well as a long tail to wrap around the user's waist.
After forming the strange creature will loop through the air and immediately attach itself to the back of the intended target, in most cases being the user. Then by spreading it's large wings (10ft wing span), will allow the user to take flight.
Capable of traveling up to 10mi before requiring rest.
DOTON: SEKAI O KUI [EARTH STYLE: EATER OF WORLDS] S RANK || NINJUTSU || DOTON || CLOSE-MID || OFFENSIVE
As the user weaves the necessary hand signs for this technique they gather chakra in their abdomen before at the time where they strike the final snake, they spontaneously contract the muscles in their abdomen and expel the chakra from their mouth almost as though they were to vomit. The chakra will exit their body in a torrent of ivory clay substance which will begin gathering on the ground at the user's feet. As the clay continues to gather it will carry the user upwards and form itself into the shape of a large boulder until it reaches the height of ten meters. At that time it will cease to grow and begin to take on its true form.
Upon taking on its true form the construct will grow four limbs, two sturdy forelegs and two sturdy hind legs, much like a reptiles. Afterwards a long, strong, tail, about five meters long, will extend from its hind side. At this point the area between the two forelegs will begin to ripple almost as though something were trying to break through a cloth bag by repeatedly hitting it. At the user's command, a dragon hand seal, several diabolic snake heads, each about the size of a house (20ft), numbering at the user's choosing (max of five), will sprout out of the body of the construct in a like quickness of a horse dashing out of the gate at a full sprint.
Once the construct has fully formed can it then be used for the purpose to decimating all of the user's foes with pure brute force. Each head is capable of moving independently of the others, and moves at a speed of an average Chūnin. They are capable of dealing massive damage equal to the strength of an B-rank taijutsu user. More powerful than this is their jaw strength which can be considered as strong as a Chūnin who specializes in Taijutsu.
However this is still not the construct's strongest attribute. No that lies in its tenacity and power to regenerate. So long as the user is still supplying chakra to the construct, if the construct's heads are cleaved off, or sliced in half in any manner, the construct will not only regenerate but create two more heads. Meaning if it is beheaded, two more heads (half the size of the original) will take its place, or if the head is split in two, the two halves will reduce in size by half and use that mass to reform the other side of its head thus creating two head.
However none of this is even possible without the user being present. The user must ride on the back of the construct or be touching it in some manner so that they are able to supply a constant stream of chakra to the construct. If the construct's supply of chakra disappears the construct will fall to the ground lifeless, however trapping anyone that may get caught under it in its lifeless clay density.
The clay created from this technique can be used as a medium for other techniques once this one has ended. The hydra itself cannot use any techniques.
