After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
Tsuki is a large mouse that stands at 2'3" tall and weighs 63lbs. He possesses a dusty brown coat and a tail that is as long as his body. His paws are very hand-like and allow him to hold and use objects in ways only creatures with nimble digits could. His teeth are long, and he is often seen chewing on things to help stunt the growth of his teeth. His right ear has three earrings; two gold rings closer to the top, and one gold stud at the bottom. He wears brown beaded necklaces decorated with gold and blue with a cloth pendant that hangs down his back. On his front paws, he wears golden bands around his wrists. At the base of his tail, he wears silver bands seemingly tangled with each other. Halfway down his tail a blue cloth is tied—the same material as the cloth pendant—and at the end of his tail are two gold rings, a long blue pendant hanging between the rings.
Personality:
Tsukizumi is much more intelligent than your run-of-the-mill mouse. His higher cognitive level allows him to not be swayed by Izaya's pipe, although it is still a pleasant sound to the animal and he may even dance to the tune. While slightly timid, Tsuki is extraordinarily curious, and will often stare intently at things he finds interesting with his large, shiny eyes from either Izaya's side or peeking from behind something. When given permission, he will carefully approach this thing of interest, and once learning there is no threat, fully explore and climb this object.
Tsuki has a particular interest in the color yellow, and is not unknown to pilfering yellow objects, most of which he gets scolded for and needs to return shamefully. Tsuki is majorly non-aggressive, but when someone is cruel or overbearing towards Izaya because of his differences from other people, the mouse will get potentially aggressively protective of him, warding off those who are hurting his partner. The bite of a 60+ pound mouse is not a pleasant one, and most don't come around after being bitten or witnessing someone being bitten. More often than not he will only bluff, however, trying to ward off the enemy before biting needs to happen.
That being said, Tsuki is not exactly a battle companion. During training sessions he will often sit by and read a book from Izaya's bag. However, if anything, his skill is agility, and if he finds himself in a position where he does need to fight by Izaya's side, he makes use of his agility to avoid blows and dash at the opponent to deliver nasty bites.
Special Abilities:
BITE
While mice are quite known for their tiny, yet painful and damaging bite, a bite from a mouse as large as Tsuki could potentially remove flesh or fingers if he decided to bite down hard enough. Thankfully unless it's a violent situation, he won't bite down that hard, because he isn't especially fond of the taste of blood.
STEAL
Tsuki is an excellent pickpocket, so to speak, and can successfully steal a wide variety of things without being noticed despite his size; especially in darker situations. While this certainly has its uses, more often than not, it was a compulsive theft for something shiny or yellow, and Izaya makes him return the item.
AGILITY
Tsuki is very agile, capable of dashing quickly, dodging blows, and climbing dexterously. This is useful in countless situations for Izaya and Tsuki's most useful skill.
INTELLIGENCE
Mice are known for not being so smart, however Tsukizumi is not your average mouse. He is quite intelligent, capable of high-level problem-solving, planning, reading, writing, and basic planning. He is not capable of human speech, but with his ability to write, he does not need to be. Like other mice, however, he is capable of remembering a set path of a labyrinth once selecting the correct paths to the desired place, which is useful when infiltrating and a hasty escape needs to be made.
