After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
The way this works is that the user has one dominant eye at first. This eye Either specializes in Genjutsu, Copycat or Prediction. the other eye is the second, which specializes in on of the remaining two sections.
The dominant eye advances first, with the secondary eye coming in right behind. All eyes start off on Lv1 to begin with and have access to all the skills under that level. each time they level up, they get the skills associated with the path and level
When an eye advances, it will advance down the chosen path, meaning the evolution path for a fully matured sharingan might look like:
the dominant eye levels up first, then the secondary. this repeats until both are at level three, at which point, the weak trait would level up to level 2.
Genjutsu
Lv1 Katsugan [Shattering Eye] This ability allows Uchiha to use their doujutsu to see through genjutsu up to C-rank when active. They additionally have the ability to use their Sharingan to dispel genjutsu of that rank through expending an amount of chakra equaling the casting cost of the technique in question.
Lv2
Kairyou Katsugan [Improved Shattering Eye]: This ability allows Uchiha to use their doujutsu to see through genjutsu up to B-rank when active. They additionally have the ability to use their Sharingan to dispel genjutsu of that rank through expending an amount of chakra equaling the casting cost of the technique in question.
Sharingan: Genjutsu [Copy Wheel Eye: Illusion Techniques] This gives the user the ability to cast any genjutsu up to b Rank though the target having eye contact with the user's sharingan.
Lv3 Taibu Katsugan [Greater Shattering Eye]: This ability allows Uchiha to use their doujutsu to see through genjutsu up to A-rank when active. They additionally have the ability to use their Sharingan to dispel genjutsu of that rank through expending an amount of chakra equaling the casting cost of the technique in question. Kairyou Sharingan: Genjutsu [Improved Copy Wheel Eye: Illusion Techniques]: this gives the user the ability to cast any genjutsu through the target having eye contact with the user's sharingan.
Prediction Lv1 Yochigan [Predicting Eye]: This ability allows the user to see through, follow, and anticipate movement and Taijutsu techniques up to C-rank. With this ability, the Uchiha is able to see incoming techniques, thus making them better able to dodge or counter said attacks.
Lv2 Kairyou Yochigan [Improved Predicting Eye]: This ability allows the user to see through, follow, and anticipate movement and Taijutsu techniques up to B-rank. With this ability, the Uchiha is able to see incoming techniques, thus making them better able to dodge or counter said attacks.
Akirakagan [Clear Eyes]: This technique requires a Sharingan with a minimum of two tomoe. Whilst the user's doujutsu is active, he or she user can identify the chakra nature of any opponents. This additionally allows the user to differentiate between clones and the original shinobi. Lastly, those with this ability are able to visually interpret the molding of chakra for a jutsu, allowing them to predict the technique's elemental nature before it is completed.
Lv3 Taibu Yochigan [Greater Predicting Eye]: This ability allows the user to see through, follow, and anticipate movement and Taijutsu techniques up to A-rank. With this ability, the Uchiha is able to see incoming techniques, thus making them better able to dodge or counter said attacks.
Kairyou Akirakagan [Improved Clear Eyes]: This ability allows the user's vision to penetrate and see clearly through Kirigakure no Jutsu and other similar techniques which would usually obstruct a Sharingan user's line of sight.
Copycat Lv1 Bujigan [Martial Eye] This ability allows the user to replicate any physical techniques (e.g. taijutsu, bukijutsu) he or she sees another shinobi use while in combat up to A-rank. The Uchiha cannot copy techniques that require abilities or characteristics he or she does not already possess, such as a summoning contract or a kekkei genkai.
Fushigigan [Mystic Mirror Eye] This ability allows the user to replicate any chakra-based techniques (e.g. ninjutsu) he or she sees another shinobi use while in combat up to C-rank. The Uchiha cannot copy techniques that require abilities or characteristics he or she does not already possess, such as a summoning contract or a kekkei genkai.
Lv2 Kairyou Fushigigan [Improved Mystic Eye] This ability allows the user to replicate any chakra-based techniques (e.g. ninjutsu) he or she sees another shinobi use while in combat up to B-rank. The Uchiha cannot copy techniques that require abilities or characteristics he or she does not already possess, such as a summoning contract or a kekkei genkai.

I like the idea a lot and will stamp it. We will need a formal right up of this system, flesh out the explanation a bit for other members, and come up with a way of measuring progression a little more concretely. You have the thumbs up from me.
