After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.

Despite his weathered age, Sato has always been known for sporting a rather youthful complexion. Perhaps it is his high-water intake and sense of cleanliness that has allowed for such, but his pale flesh always seems to be devoid of natural blemishes, granting the shinobi an eerily untouched appearance. However, onlookers are quick to notice the horrendous scar spread across the man's left cheek, the reminder of an exchange between himself and his superiors within the Mist. The wound worked its way up into the man's eye, the near-blinding experience leaving his once onyx orb a bright white in color.
As is expected of those in the Hozuki clan, Sato's hair is of a bright color—a flawless white, it has often been called. Given his training in the art of swordplay, it is not odd to see that the shinobi has had his teeth filed down to sharpened points like that of a shark's, giving him a terrifyingly animalistic grin. It was through his rigourous physical training that Sato attained a body that is well suited for the taxes of Taijutsu, as taut and toned muscle ripple just beneath his bright skin. Despite this impressive muscularity, Sato is still considerably lithe, having placed his focus on honing his body rather than gaining incredible strength.
While the man once bore the attire of the ANBU, Sato now wears deep indigo jacket, complete with white-striped shoulders and an often-adorned hood. Its sleeves reach only as far as his elbows, from which a length of bandages reach to cover his forearms up to his wrists. Beneath all of this is a long-necked shirt of black color traditional to that of Mist shionbi, whose shortened sleeves reach just farther than the sleeves of his jacket. His lower wear consists of a simple black trousers, whose long sleeves are tucked into knee-high black shinobi boots. Upon his right hip is the man's general shinobi pouch, while his left hip bears a kunai holster. Sato has long since abandoned his hitai-ate, not wishing to affiliate himself with the Mist.
PERSONALITY
While once a loving and friendly child, time and bloodshed have warped a warmhearted boy into a monster of a man. Bloodied traditions held within the ANBU forces forced Sato into the mindset of a merciless killer, and even with his departure from both the black ops and the village, he retrains this unwavering attitude in the art of ending lives. Perhaps it was his extensive training and poor upbringing, but the shinobi is best known for his uncaring and often hostile nature towards others, no matter his disposition towards them. Having lost all those he cares about has left the man somewhat hollow in his endearment for life, and instead has swung his focus towards what makes life horrendous. This sparked a maliciousness within his very soul, a demonic sadism that sees his enemies suffer rather than die so that they may find no release from agony.
Though through his darkened being, there is a cunning and logical side to the monster's mind. Having worked in the department of hunting other humans, Sato possesses a strong understanding of how people work, and uses such information against both foes and 'allies' alike. Thus, he is incredibly manipulative, though moreso in the means of disorienting others than bringing them to his side. In this regard, Sato is truly a loner; companionship never seems to last long with the shinobi, given his malice and bitterness toward everyone and everything. He is the gear whose grooves simply cannot match with that of others.
Within all of this hatred and blackness, there is a wounded child within Sato. While his neuroticism riles him to lash out at all those around him with bloodthirstiness, he cannot help but feel the full force of the agonizing loneliness brought on as a result of his temper. Extremes in his behavior force him away from ever finding a true friend, or a true lover, only furthering him into the inky blackness of his own corrupted self.

HISTORY
ACADEMY AGE 8
GENIN AGE 11
CHUUNIN AGE 15
JOUNIN AGE 26
Right from the start, Sato was on the low end of his class, having been born to the brother of the clan's heir. Though close to the Hozuki's head in blood, the distance between them made Sato's intermediate family seen as but mid-tier clansmen at best. Only those within the heir's lineage would become great shinobi, like that of the second Mizukage, while others were only meant to serve and protect to the best of their abilities. In a manner of speaking, Sato was not destined to be a great shionbi.
It seemed such a notion had acted like an ale for his father's disposition, leaving the man drunken with bitterness and envy of his older sibling. In time, his personality had eventually run his wife out the door, leaving a motherless toddler in the care of a broken man. This darkness swelling within his father found solace only in outlets aimed toward his one and only son, chastising the boy for whatever failures he was associated with in his early childhood. Even when Sato had first entered the Academy, the man scolded him for what seemed to be every few months for not having graduated sooner. The man wanted a prodigy son, like what would be expected of his brother's kin, to the point of violence.
This warped the young Sato's mind, though such parenting was not uncommon within the Mist's distributed clans. To darken a future shinobi during childhood would harden them as a weapon, and make them deadly in the field. Though for a young and sensitive child such as Sato, such behavior only left him confused and uncertain when around adults and other children. He knew only pain when it came to others, and so others would only cause him pain, making him a fearful child.
But soon, Sato found a way to calm his fear: violence.
To be hit was terrifying, but to be the one who harmed was exhilarating. During his spars in the Academy, Sato often drove the fighting too far, to the point that blood would be shed when it wasn't necessary. Soon, instead of being the one afraid of others, it would be others who were afraid of the boy. However, even with his excelling in his studies and performances, the boy's father still saw him as below average, and still short of being a prodigy. Sato was still not the son he wanted.
It was the day of Sato's graduation that the child's father had gone missing. Though his body was never recovered, there were rumors that the boy had killed him, with the clan covering up the murder, though the village doubted a child could do such a thing to a veteran shinobi. Regardless, his disappearance forced Sato to stay on his own, forcing the preteen to live a life of solitude during his growth as a shinobi.
Genin life was a new challenge in Sato's life, having been placed on a team of arguably stronger students given his mediocre scores. The boy had the hardest of times trying to keep up with others, having little skill himself outside of his clan's jutsu. It seemed Sato was only good for taking the hits for his allies, while they performed the objectives needed in the mission and were praised for its completion. Unfair, his life was, seeing what his father had envisioned for him; a height of skill that he would never be able to reach.
Years had passed, and the teenager seemed to have found his calling: hunting. Focusing his skills in the art of tracking and capturing, Sato quickly surpassed his teammates in terms of individual ability, and had even impressed his sensei with his growth. By the time the boy had become Chunin, having passed his exam with an exceptional showcase, the fifteen year old was recommended in joining the ANBU's Hunter-nin division.
This was the teenager's new home, finding himself lost in the paradise of what felt to be his true nature. His abilities, often not seen in the ANBU given the secrecy required to use them, made the man a perfect operative, being proficient in infiltration, tracking, interrogation, and even assassination despite his young age. Though seen as a child by his peers, Sato's superiors saw the boy as an ANBU prodigy, and even noted that he may one day become the ANBU captain. Just being called a prodigy brought a warmth within the usually cold shinobi, a feeling he had not known since he was a boy.
Though all happiness is pursued by tragedy.
The wars between the villages forced the ANBU into the darkest of work; be it attempted assassinations of daimyo, killing of general jonin, or other tasks of such a nature, it was tasked to the teenager nonetheless. He was often met by failure, not knowing that war brought on all sorts of challenges, with his narrow escapes often involving the maiming or killing of his allies. It was as he had done before with his father, he thought, that success only came from severing attachments to what slowed oneself down. When he returned home, with the war having ended, Sato was no longer seen as the prodigy he was once noted as, but instead as a bloodthirsty and selfish monster.
By the time he had reached the rank of jonin, Sato still expected his superior's words to hold true; that he would become captain of the ANBU. Though when the time came for a replacement, Sato was deemed ill fit to look after his comrades in arms nor lead troops without casualties. This inspired a rage within the man, one that had not been felt since the day his father had pushed him too far. That very night, Sato attempted and escape from the mist, though he was pursued by both his superiors and his former colleagues. Once again, the Hozuki managed to slip away from the fight at the cost of his once-allies' lives, though not without receiving a brutal scar across his face; the only lasting wound he would have ever truly known.
Years have passed since his departure, with the ex-ANBU having used what he learned in the black ops to avoid detection by the Mist. Now deemed a criminal shinobi, Sato travels the world alone, seeking purpose for the bloodlust the village had spawned within him. Though he may not have a purpose, the Hozuki possesses one true drive:
Hydrification: As a member of the infamous Hozuki clan, Sato can liquefy and solidify his body at an instant, making him immune to physical attacks and granting him incredible infiltration prowess. His prowess with this ability has become so great that liquefying is nearly instinctual, as Sato even begins to turn while he is unconscious. Even the composition of his transformation can be altered; Sato could attain a water-like consistency, or even that of oil or gel. While the technique usually only affects one's body, Sato is capable of liquefying both his clothing and his equipment, completely turning into water.
Expansive Reserves: Sato's greatest trait as a shinobi was his longevity in the field, being able to last for hours in battle before ever feeling winded. Though this massive amount of stamina is most often applied to his use of Hydrification and its children techniques, allowing him to remain unaffected by most attacks far longer than an opponent could maintain the offensive. It would take extended use of his most costly jutsu to drain Sato quickly.
Silent Killing: As a ex-swordsman of the Mist, it isn't unexpected that Sato is skilled in the art of not only moving silently, but tracking and reading the movements of his opponents through sound alone. This allows him to approach his opponents without being noticed, especially when concealed within the fog of his Hidden Mist Technique. To lose sight of Sato is to enter into an ocean of danger, in which the Hozuki is a shark circling his prey.
ANBU Training: Sato was once part of Kirigakure's ANBU black ops, specializing in the branch of Hunter-nin before his departure. Thus, his great repertoire of abilities gained through the black ops are geared toward tracking and killing other shinobi. Even if robbed of his sight and hearing, Sato's nose has been trained to pick up on the slight scents each individual carries, being able to track his targets through sight, sound, and smell. Otherwise, to keep up with escaping opponents, Sato's training has also promised his body exceptional speed.

“Time for the fun stuff, I love the fun stuff, do you like the fun stuff?
As is expected of those in the Hozuki clan, Sato's hair is of a bright color—a flawless white, it has often been called.
If we're going to be technical, white is as much of a color as black; meaning it's basically a lack of color.
Given his training in the art of swordplay, it is not od to see that the shinobi has had his teeth filed down to sharpened points like that of a shark's, giving him a terrifyingly animalistic grin.
*odd. I believe the shark-teeth are hereditary. And also I have no idea what it has to do with swordplay.

Sweetheart unless he's anorexic he won't only weigh that much. He's a muscular, solid shinobi made out of water. Muscle is x10 heavier than fat. Try and recalculate that.

I'd just like to say I love how these go in increasing size.I want to give this guy a hug. Also, your history is very well-written.You're limited to a max of x3 soldier pills. You're missing the rules password, which can be found by reading the rules on the Getting Started page, and you must also register the Hozuki clan, as it is missing the clan information (Our last Hozuki was supposed to do it, and she never did.)”
The concept of white isn't a color, but when it comes to the qualitative description of subjects, it--along with grey and black--are considered colors., rather than values. Thanks Art Appreciation class.
Aside from fish people like Kisame, the sharpened teeth aspect of Kirigakure shinobi is anything but genetic. It's actually a practice of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, who all file their teeth to points (according to the second fanbook). Other Mist swordsmen outside of this group, like Suigetsu, also apparently file their teeth probably out of admiration. Sharpening teeth is just a tradition in the Mist's swordsmen, apparently.
I added to the weight, though to be honest, I just based my character's weight off of Itachi's. Even well muscled men like Might Gai only weight around 170 lbs, and Sato's supposed to be toned-yet-lithe. Naruto character weights don't seem to match much up to what we'd expect of real life fighters.
The solder pills were reduced, and the Rules Password was added.
As far as the clan page goes, that can be done after the character is created, right? I'd hate having to write up information for a canon clan right when I'm close to being able to roleplay.

“Oooooo Little One got schooled! Yeah, the Naruto weights don't make sense; we kinda run on common sense here. And yes, you may work on it after approval.”
