After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.

OOC Name: Amaya Character name & profile: Akasumi Hitashi Details: Akasumi would be a great kage for kuso. She is laid back most of the time and cheery in nature. She's light hearted, but is usually standing proud and tall for her village and serious about making decisions for the betterment of the village. The village itself is in the midst of a steam revolution, the railnetwork being developed even greater, more track being laid with further destinations being reached with each passing week.
The guiding hand above all this is Akasumi. She's a soft guiding hand most of the time and a stern iron fist when the village needs it. What i want to do with her is help the village flourish into a hub for the rest of the world to meet in and pass through, to make the village the front runner in the medical field and be responsible for most of the trading going on.
The character herself is a puppeteer and is very laid back in appearance and tendencies. She has a number of administrative levels set up in order to make sure only the serious issues get to her and has been known to wander the village, or even out of it and to other villages to see if she can bring back any useful knowledge and tricks to improve Kusagakure. The happy exterior is a real one, but when she, her village or its inhabitants is threatened, then she drops the happiness and becomes serious on the drop of a pin.
Edit with prior approval from Z and Yuu: Will also have Human Puppet Technique due to her history of turning animals into puppets and experimentation on those who attacked the village.
The issue I have with this is actually rather small, but its an issue nonetheless. I believe that puppetry is something that should be limited to just characters from Suna, so I'll be expecting you to have some sort of relation with Suna in your history (whether its a mentor, ect. is up to you)
