After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
KOSHITSU NO FŪIN [SEAL OF ADHERENCE] D-RANK || FŪINJUTSU || SHORT RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
Whether it is drawn out beforehand or created onto a surface with chakra, a one-meter-radius circular seal will be made, one that contains a fair amount of the user's chakra. The formula of this seal is designed to activate whenever a foreign chakra, one that is not the user's, comes in contact with its makeup--this includes chakra through physical contact, as stepping on the seal is enough to set it off. Whatever the case, the stored chakra of the user will be streamed into the body of the afflicted target, adhering them to the seal's surface in a manner akin to that of the Act of Tree Climbing. This leaves the trapped enemy unable to dodge properly. While one could use seal-removing techniques in order to remove its harmful effects, the most common way this has been disrupted is through destroying the medium that the seal was placed upon, thereby breaking the formula.
SEISHI NO FŪIN [SEAL OF RESTRAINT] C-RANK || FŪINJUTSU || SHORT-MID RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
A small palm-sized seal is either drawn or created from chakra, one that is surrounded by a ring of kanji. With the use of three hand seals, these kanji can materialize from the surface on which they reside in the form of four chains of kanji, extending as far as ten meters to bind onto whatever the user wishes it to connect with. When a connection is made, the kanji dematerializes onto the target's surface, thereby binding one surface to another. More often than not, this is done to bind a person to a particular spot, as an iron-strong chain of kanji keeps them from moving any farther. With an additional hand seal, this chain of kanji can be forcibly shortened, pulling the target closer and closer toward the seal's origin. These chains are considerably enduring, though the places where they bind to may give if enough force is applied in removing them, though this is usually at the expense of those attached to the technique.
FŪINSO NO JUTSU [SEAL TRANSLOCATION TECHNIQUE] C-RANK || FŪINJUTSU || SHORT RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
After forming five seals, chakra will coat the fingertips of the user's hand. This chakra, specialized in the alteration and creation of seals, possesses the ability to materialize and detmaterialize these formulas through touch. With such an ability, the user is able to physically move a seal from one spot to another. However, binding seals such as that of a Jinchuriki's or others of greater power are far too strong to be moved in such ways, leaving this technique's use for similar and weaker types of formulas. Failure to relocate a seal before the technique's end will result in the seal dispersing, making this technique effective in dispelling weak seals as it is in relocating the user's own weak seals.
SHINTŌ NO FŪIN [SEAL OF IMPACT] C-RANK || FŪINJUTSU || SHORT RANGE || DEFENSIVE
Whether it is drawn or created from chakra on an inanimate surface or another person, a wide seal is spread across whatever the user places it upon. This seal is specifically designed to materialize and solidify when introduced to great stress, such as that of a speeding punch or even offensive ninjutsu. The seal forms a barrier as hard as stone atop whatever spot is being attacked, acting as an automatic shield that protects the sealed target. However, if force exceeds the damage threshold of the seal, the defense will crumble, dispersing the impact of the oncoming attack, but ultimately leaving the target once again vulnerable. When used on a person, it works wonders to protect them from simple attacks, but also prevents them from dealing such damage to others, as the barrier will simply absorb the impact as it is meant to do.
NAKAKKI NO FŪIN [SEAL OF INANIMACY] B-RANK || FŪINJUTSU || SHORT RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
Unlike most seals, this one must be drawn or created from chakra upon the surface of a weapon, usually that of a kunai or a sword. This seal will not appear until it has properly pierced and pinned the opponent, in which it will spread over the weapon and the afflicted part of the target in a half meter radius. The formula grants the afflicted part of the target's body the same rigidity that the catalyst weapon possesses, which ultimately makes moving the pinned parts of the body impossible to move without having the catalyst weapon removed. When used with typical weaponry, it has the added effect of making the affected part of the opponent as enduring as the used weapon, making the removal of the pinned body parts a great chore for those without the ability to break such a defense.
TOJIKO NO FŪIN [SEAL OF IMPRISONMENT] B-RANK || FŪINJUTSU || SHORT-MID RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
Described as a larger scale version of the Seal of Restraint, a massive five-meter radius seal is drawn or created from chakra and placed on a surface, surrounded by several lines of kanji. When actiavted, these kanji extend from the seal as dozens of twenty-meter-long chains, each aimed to attach to and bind those they come in contact with. This makes for an effective way to capture and detain numerous opponents at once, or even incapacitate giant beasts for a short time. If all chains are used on a single shinobi, it's said that escape is near impossible unless they possess immense strength, given that the chains will be bound to nearly every spot on their body.
MUKŌN NO FŪIN [SEAL OF INCAPACITATION] B-RANK || FŪINJUTSU || SHORT RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
A seal must be drawn or created from chakra and placed on the forehead of the opponent in order to take effect, using its sealing effects on the opponent's senses. Once the seal is placed and activated, chakra will flush into the opponent's head, creating disruptions in the flow of their own chakra and thus disorienting their senses. While not an incredibly binding seal, it works wonders to keep a defeated foe from fighting back vigorously, as their senses will be distorted and overwhelmed to the point of incapacitation. Given how specific a place it must be set to have any affect, it is a seal best saved for after combat, as a strike to the head is an action not often accomplished in the heat of battle. This seal constantly releases its chakra, meaning it eventually will run its course, which tends to last around an hour or so.
KUCHIYOSE: RAIKŌ KENKA [SUMMONING: LIGHTING FLASH BLADE CREATION] B-RANK || FŪINJUTSU || SHORT RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
Through use of a specialized version of the Object Sealing Method, the user will store weapons or other items into scrolls, clothing, or even into their own body through the use of a seal. However, this formula is designed not only for sealing, but for summoning as well. Rather than drawing out blood across a scroll in order to unseal or summon the stored items, however, the user must simply give the formula a slight tap, using chakra to instantly draw out the desired weapon. This not only lowers the time it takes to retrieve a weapon, prepare oneself, and throw it, but also allows complicated and rigged devices to be called upon at the ready without the need to previously prepare them in midst battle. As these weapons are summoned rather than unsealed, they can be recalled to their containing seal in a plume of smoke, granting the user a near infinite arsenal of weapons at their disposal.
KYŌFŪIN NO JUTSU [SUDDEN SEALING TECHNIQUE] A-RANK || FŪINJUTSU || SHORT RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
This is a seal that can only be made through chakra, given how short the technique itself actually lasts. When coming in contact with another object and/or person, the user is capable of almost instantly sealing one within the other, or even within the user his or herself, leaving a small spiral seal in the spot that the user is touching on the host target. For defensive purposes, this makes a great way to hide an ally from the line of sight, as the seal can easily be broken to release the allied shinobi. Otherwise, it could be used to seal oncoming techniques or the opponent altogether, although doing so may come at the cost of the user's well being if they are attacked. Those within the seal are left in a stasis, so to speak, as time neither passes nor truly stops for them while they are sealed. This seal only lasts a minute before it is broken. While creatures and physical objects that aren't human can also be sealed with the technique, nothing larger than an elephant is capable of being sealed with such great speed. Of course, as they orchestrate the fuinjutsu, the user is incapable of sealing himself into others.
SANTORII NO FŪIN [THREE TORII CAGE SEAL] A-RANK ||FŪINJUTSU || SHORT RANGE || SUPPLEMENTARY
After drawing out a seal large enough for the targeted creature or item to fit within its center, the user will form a set of ten hand seals. Light will erupt from the formula, enveloping the target in its bright majesty. The seal materializes itself as several reaching kanji, all of which will bind to the target's body, gradually covering them in what appear to be bars of black text. The target must escape this before they completely enveloped by the seal, which can be done simply by moving out of the seal's center. Once the target is completely covered, the seals will dematerialize, dragging the target inside of the seal's makeup, completely sealing them. This occupied formula must then be moved to another medium lest the user simply wants to seal the target into the ground, usually using a scroll, gourd, or even another person as the catalyst. What results is the target being completely sealed within whatever medium the user wishes, although the consciousness of any living creature affected by the technique will be completely cut off from any living hosts. Those trapped within will find themselves at the center of a cramped wooden cage, where the posts of three torii constructs have slipped through the crosshatched wooden beams of the cage to keep the afflicted pinned and unable to move. Such a technique is not entirely taxing on those who are simply sealing items, but those that wish to seal creatures must offer an equal amount of chakra for the total amount that the target possesses, often requiring multiple shinobi to perform this technique when dealing with those bearing immeasurable stamina.
