After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.

MANGETSU
Alias: Beasts of the Moon Country of Origin: Kusa no Kuni Current Location: Kusagakure, Scattered
Members:
Mangetsu Saika
CHARACTERISTICS
For many years the children of the Mangetsu were easily recognizable from their snow white hair that was said to match the majesty of the moon. Of course later generations have kept this trait among many of the newborn children however recently many have begun displaying traces of blonde hair as well as darker tones, possibly due to the spreading of the special curse that many are gifted with.
BACKGROUND
Do you know the legends of men who could turn into beasts during the night of a full moon? Well those legends are true and the people of the Mangetsu were the source. For as long as anyone could remember they had been nothing more than your everyday Shinobi who took a rather enthusiastic penchant for hunting down Enemy and Missing-nin alike and making sure that they couldn't do anything anymore. Some would say that they are the pioneers of the term "Hunter-nin" due to the handful of rouges that left the home of the clan yet still offered their services as bounty hunters, of course many will deny that claim.
Despite the strength they showed in the early years of the world they had a bad habit of not keeping up with the outside world and as the years went by they were quickly overpowered by those who learned new tricks and evolved, the worst ones were those who made "contracts" with animals to aid them in battle. It wasn't long till the entire clan was pushed back into their little hole of a den to lick their wounds and manifest anger and jealousy from their losses. It was then that they decided that they would improve themselves and renew their own strength, in one of the worst way possible too.
If people would fight with animals then the Mangetsu would fight as animals, for years many of the clan's elite did research in secret from the village of Kusagakure and her people. They sought out to create a special jutsu influenced by the Inuzuka from Konohagakure however it wasn't a complete success, for them it was just too hard to keep such a jutsu under control so they decided to go a different route, by using Juinjutsu. Many were sacrificed to get the desired results yet each clan member gave their life to make sure that the clan would become stronger. Years of trial and error and they had what they wanted, a power that would let them go down in history as one of the most deadly ninja in history.
LEGACY OF POWER
Curse Technique: Monster Wolf [Jujutsu: Bakeookami]
The signature of the Mangetsu, a curse mark that grants those who have it on their bodies the attributes of the majestic wolf, and that is only on the first level of the curse mark. When those who train with the seal unlock its true potential in which it grants them the ability to turn into a giant monstrous wolf with immense strength. The only downside to this is that many who acquire the full power of this mark suffer the possibility of becoming drunk on power and their minds becoming fogged because of it, turning them into berserk monsters that live for nothing but to wreak havoc and rend apart other humans who dare try to challenge them.
During the development of this curse mark some had discovered a way to transmit the mark onto other people as a way to make enemies seem like monsters to their allies or make non-clan members who married into the clan feel more like part of the family. Only by contact and a blood tribute from the victim can one be given the mark and many Mangetsu agreed that biting their victims was the most easiest and fastest way of giving one the mark, of course when one is infected with the curse by this action the first stage of the seal is activated for a minimum of four hours and causes the bitten to become a feral creature as their body shifts to become similar to a Mangetsu's, meaning a new set of ears and a fluffy tail to go with their new curse.
Aside from the curse mark many are given at their graduation of genin the many experiments and side effects of the mark has also granted those born under the Mangetsu name some traits that separate them from normal humans aside from the cosmetic department. Each member is born with an exceptional sense of both hearing and smell, making them excellent trackers and guards. They also have grown with the pain of having to transform into monsters every once in a while which has made their bodies grow accustomed to it and has given them strong constitutions and a high tolerance to pain.

C RANK
Ookamishīru no Tamashī [Soul of the Wolf Seal] C || Juinjutsu || n/a || Self || Supplementary
*Must be at least Genin
The first stage of the Mangetsu curse mark, activated by empowering the seal with a tiny bit of chakra the mark spreads all over the host's body, covering them in crescent shaped marks from head to toe. When active the mark grants the user a large burst of adrenaline and a boost in both speed and strength as well as sharpening and making their canines and nails grow slightly too.
B RANK
Ookamishīru no Bodi [Body of the Wolf Seal] B || Juinjutsu || n/a || Self || Supplementary
*Must be at least Chuunin
The second stage of the Mangetsu curse mark, activated by added a small amount of blood onto the seal along with a bit of chakra, once this second level of the mark is activated the user's body with undergo a harsh transformation as their entire body shifts to that of a large wolf that stands as tall as they do as a human. With their body structure changing into that of a quadruped and fur covering their bodies and minds favoring their instincts more the user sacrifices their ability to perform any sort of jutsu but in turn they gain greater speed, mobility, and overall power to tear enemies apart with their own teeth and nails.
A RANK
Ookamishīru no Ikari [Wrath of the Wolf Seal] A || Juinjutsu || n/a || Self || Supplementary
*Must be at least Jounin
The final and most dangerous stage of the Mangetsu curse mark. Activated by pouring more than half of one's own chakra into the seal this final stage is only reserved as a last resort due to its effects. Once the seal is active the user will undergo a similar transformation as the previous stage of the mark, however this one turns the user into a much more larger looking wolf with a lot more muscle on their body and can easily stand on its hind legs. The drastic drawback on this however is that the while the user can return to human form they have no recollection of whatever happens while they are in that state, plus the more times this form is used the more one loses their sense of humanity and their minds revert to basic animal instincts coupled with uncontrollable rage.
S RANK
Pakku no Kamu [Bite of the Pack] S || Juinjutsu || n/a || Short || Supplementary/Offensive
The user bites anywhere on a Non-Mangetsu person and with an open wound and drawing blood they engrave the curse mark of the Mangetsu clan on them. Once the mark is applied and sealed with chakra the bitten will find themselves become feral as their body changes to match the physiology of the Mangetsu people, such a state will last for a few hours (four at minimum) and be unable to tell foe or friend apart.
