After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
Please note that none of these techniques can be used unless one is infected with Akui's (or Urami's) Chakra. Also note none of these techniques are shinboi nor samurai abilities thus for type I will replace the standard words with the following; mythical (ninjutsu), illusionary (genjutsu), physical (taijutsu and its kin).
KOKUSOU [BLACK JAVELIN] S-RANK || MYTHICAL || KURAI || LONG || OFFENSIVE
The user clasps their hands together and gathers night chakra with which they will then shape into the area between their hands as they pull them apart forming a black javelin. The user then throws this javelin and manipulates its trajectory with two fingers from their throwing hand. When the javelin lands it supposedly vanishes leaving a dark radiating mark of the night in the spot where it landed. Approximately one minute later (next post in rp terms) thousands of black javelins will then rain from the sky in a 500 foot radius of the mark of the night, piercing virtually anything they touch.
However this technique has a few severe drawbacks, first and foremost is the pure drainage of chakra. Its a one use thing. So badly to the point that the user is likely to be extremely fatigued after using it and will need much rest. More than that is that the javelin do not know friend from foe. As such even the user's own life is at risk if they happen to get caught within the radius of the attack.
JIBUN NO KOKORO [ONE'S OWN HEART] S-RANK || ILLUSION || KURAI || MID || OFFENSIVE
"Only I know how it feels, to live in this eternal nightmare."
The user brings their fingers together to form a fist before holding it in front of their chest with the back of their hand facing outward. They gather night chakra in their hand before extending their free hand forwards.
"If only your heart would show you, the truths of this world."
Taking a deep breath the user then drops both hands to their side and looks as though they are about to break down crying before suddenly letting out a shrill screech into the air causing the gathered night chakra to burst outwards. This night chakra becomes visible to everyone as a black rain that extends outwards in a radius of 500 feet.
Once caught in this black rain anyone, and everyone, will begin to visualize their worst nightmares. Whether that be the deaths of their loved ones, the loss of riches, whatever. However in the rain, anything that the victim may believe to be capable of bearing malice will turn on them. Friends, foes, anything can and will turn on the victim and depending on the severity of the illusion can cause severe damage to the victim, mentally, and even physically.
As a result of this technique, the user will often be ridden with an extreme sense of grief, often to the point where it becomes unbearable. They are rendered temporarily mute and become unable to move their legs until the effects of the technique subsides ten minutes later. Furthermore they will become incredibly physically exhausted for the duration of twenty minutes (20 posts) causing their movements after the effects of the rain wears off to be sluggish.
Another note, if someone manages to render the user unconscious, or worse, or get out of the rain storm, the effects of the technique will immediately wear off but all damage will remain.
KURAI KIDOU [DARK ORBIT] A-RANK || MYTHICAL || KURAI || CLOSE || OFFENSIVE
The user balls their fingers up into a fist gathering night chakra before throwing a small spherical orb of the chakra at a desired target. Once hit (if hit) the target will be surrounded by a ball of black swirling chakra which will over time release blades of dark chakra within itself to attack the captured target while subsequently cutting them off from oxygen and slowly suffocating them.
While this technique is active the user raises both of their arms upwards with two fingers from each hand extended outwards angled in slightly towards each other. These symbolizes that they are connected to the ball that is now levitating off of the ground via their chakra. The ball, of which, if attacked will allow any attacks to pass through it and harm the target. If the user, however, is forced to dodge and attack, the ability will dispel freeing the target.
KEIBETSU NO ME [SCORNFUL EYE] A-RANK || ILLUSION || KURAI || MID || OFFENSIVE
"They're always watching you. Judging you."
The user brings their hands across their chest, resting them on the opposite shoulder. They bend forward as they utter this phrase, their words dripping with night chakra. Upon hearing these words the target's world will become dark sans for himself and the user. All around him he will see eyes. Millions and millions of eyes will appear, watching him, and seemingly judging him. These eyes will instill a sense of uneasiness into the target, and cause them to do and say things they normally wouldn't. Their gaze might even cause a select few to go mad.
This technique is designed to instill uneasiness into the foe and create an opening for the user. The target is likely to become sloppy in their actions. They will likely become rash, and hasty.
The user must remain immobile for the first two posts this ability is active to allow the uneasiness to fester within the target.
JIGOKU NO TSUME [HELL'S NAIL] B-RANK || PHYSICAL || KURAI || CLOSE|| OFFENSIVE
The user coats their hand in night chakra causing their fingers, if they don't already, to gain the likeness of sharp claws. The user then rushes at the desired target aiming to maim them and infect them with the night natured chakra that will act like a deadly poison in their body until the next new moon.
This technique will cause the target to begin to feel nauseated, and before long, light headed. Eventually they may begin to hallucinate and become detached from the world. The target's immune system as well as chakra network will be attacked by the night chakra, and the target will have a high chance of death shortly after being infected with night chakra.
Only a direct application of spiritual energy (Yin Chakra) seems to be effective in getting rid of the effects of being infected with Night Chakra.
If those infected with Night Chakra are not infected directly from Akui, it is highly likely they will not be able to manipulate Night Chakra themselves (1 in 500 chance)
KUUGEKI NO ME [VOID'S EYE] B-RANK || ILLUSION || KURAI || MID || DEFENSIVE
"Have you ever wondered what nightmares lurk in the dark?"
The user gathers night chakra in their right hand before pressing the flat of their palm up against their left eye. After a brief moment they wipe their hand outwards away from their eye before swinging it forwards releasing a pulse of night chakra forwards. Those caught in this wave will be temporarily rendered blind. Not only that, but they will be plagued with visions of nightmarish creatures that appear too real to not try to fight off.
While the illusion itself does no damage, it does provide the perfect distraction to allow the user to escape. Once the user is more than 100 meters away the technique will dispel.
OTSUGE [ORACLE] D-RANK || MYTHICAL || KURAI || ALL || SUPPLEMENTARY
The user gathers night chakra in their eye before physically tearing it out of its own socket and crushing it. By surrendering their vision in that eye until the night chakra regenerates it, the user gains the ability to see the locations of other sentient beings in the area.
