After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
Now everyone loves a woman with curves don't they? Well the females of the Tama clan are known for having this attribute present and so hast Kumiko. Not incredibly tall its surprising to say that when she was a child she actually could have been called overweight but with time her body settled that extra weight into the right places and you now have the woman you see these in being the kind of beauty only fort told in one's dreams. Kumiko stands at five feet eight inches and weights 165 pounds.
With bright amber eyes with slitted irises, a petite nose and rosy pink lips, a set of fox like whiskers imprinted into her skin as a mark she inherited from her mother, thin well trimmed eyebrows, just these little things would be enough to scream beauty. Yet from there moves to her hair, jet black, usually shining a deep shade of dark black blueish tone when the sun hits it, usually seen well taken cared off and stylized into a brad half way down her back, with a free bangs loose in the front to add a bit flare to her complexion.
Besides that, the woman has a bit of an exquisite taste for specific garments, usually specifically tailored kimonos that give her the mobility needed for training and offer some charm to it too.
Personality
Its hard to at first understand Kumiko. Mostly because she is a woman of elegance and charm, with little to nothing to hide. That said one can't just dismiss her for that, for the young woman actually has a motherly aura to herself and the first thing most will notice is that the village and those that live in its lands are her main concern no matter how much sometimes it might seem that she lets her younger like mannerisms get to her.
However there is a downside to this, seeing as Kumiko loves to play pranks on others when the situation seems too tense even for her taste, which means in a way she might come out as unprofessional at first, but people will eventually see that she is more than the eye can see.
A woman of honor and class, flirtatious and open hearted, she can also be a bit of a sly vixen, taking opportunities that might benefit the village and others before anything else. However she is also incredibly opportunistic and will spare no moment at putting someone in their place.

Kumiko was born not long after the Tama clan settled down in Kumogakure, born to the son of the clan's leader and a woman with partial Tama clan bloodline. The day she was born was seen as a blessing to her parents, seeing as the two of them had been trying to have a child for well over a decade. That being said Kumiko was the only child that the couple was ever blessed with.
Her earlier years were spent trying to fit in with most kids her age but, seeing as the clan was still newly arrived the the village she was called all tons of nasty little things by other children. And yet, the girl never really let it phase her, or it wouldn't seem like it until one day she actually fought against one of her bullies and kicked her to the dust, the two children only being seven at the time.
It was rather odd for her when it happened, seeing as the child claimed that young Kumiko had attacked her with no reason and, the bully's father actually being part of the council had the Raikage at the time bring in the young Tama member and her father in to try and elaborate what had happened. Not like the clan's safety was at stake but the man wanted to see just how the newest generation of Tama members growing up in his village were going to act.
To everybody's surprise, Kumiko acted rather civil and even admited she might've gone too far in beating up the other child and as such took the blame for the beating but she wasn't going to apologize for it, for the child was just being rude and mean over the girl being different.
After things were settled, a year later the young girl entered the academy and two years later she was offered her item of choice as part of clan tradition. A year after that she graduated and started her training as a genin and in a team composed of her and two other kids that were not part of the tama clan. To her surprise her team mates seemed to be more understanding of why she was different and she gained a few friends then, so much so that they are now till this date close friends.
However disaster struck the first time that Kumiko had her chuunin exams. The fox girl fell ill and, during the trials, saw her chance blown to smithereens by the simple fact that she couldn't keep her stamina going for as long as she needed and ended up passing out during the trials. Next thing she remembers is waking up three days later in the medical bay and things were over and done with. From the looks of it the young Tama member would have to wait another year.
With her team being torn apart as her friends were able of passing, the girl took it upon herself to actually do a bit of training on her own with her father for the next year, keeping in mind she had to succeed this time. The year was up and she had another chance. And she managed to finally get to chuunin.
From then on started the long treck for the girl to become a grown up adult. She became an ANBU, trying to prove to others that having tails and ears meant nothing if you did your job right. From chuunin level anbu she became a jounin level ANBU until rather recently. The girl took on a lot of risky jobs and seemed to excel at them no matter the way it went. Heck she was considered for ANBU captain but she did not take up the job when offered, saying that she'd rather be in the front lines instead of staying behind a desk doing paperwork.
And as a regular ANBU she stayed until a rather delicate operation happened, right around the second anniversary of the last Raikage's death. The mission was a critical one, the kind that you'd only expect to see in movies almost. The ANBU of Kumogakure had to successfully infiltrate warehouse and disable a large slave trade operation without killing a single soul.
The ANBU captain at the time made a rash decision in sending in a group of three females that got themselves caught so he was demoted at the spot by the council, leaving the group in a bit of of disarray until Kumiko took up charge and managed to get the group back in stable working order and prepared a plan.
At the break of dawn of an early august morning the forces infiltrated the building, took down the ones in charge and their goons, rescued the ANBU that had gotten caught and did not have a single casualty. It was this day, this operation and the way that Kumiko stood up and gave the group the guidance and finesse they needed that earned her the nomination for Raikage.
Pondering the choice of weather or not to take the spot, she actually decided to take up the position, if not to show that, just because she looked different didn't mean she was stupid and could actually do things like any other person fitted for the job. And so she became the Raikage.
Nowadays Kumiko tends to rush through her paperwork so she can have as much free time as she can, not only for her clan but for her village. It's not fun being cooped up after all.

Special abilities
Contract - Hokushin no Koreix - The contract of the Tama clan, usually available to those that are within its ranks and have gained the knowledge and power to use it. It is the contact of the so called Fox Spirits of the North Star, guardians of the Tama clan.
Tsuton - Star Stylex Tsuton, developed around a hundred years ago by some members of the clan, manifests itself as an advanced form of Katon. Ever since then all members of the clan have been primary Katon users with some other kind of secondary affinity. The styles techniques are known for their light blue glowing color, much resembling the color of what popular myth say ghost spirits are colored like. They can also shift the normal hue of Katon abilities to this tone, making it another clear indicator that they are part of this clan.
Fox Like Traits - From the Tama bloodline comes the ears, tails and fox like appearance. This grants the clan members that take it into account increased agility and balance and the ability to take in more of their surroundings and as such, have enhanced senses of hearing, smell and sight. Of course all of these can be disrupted in some way and damage to the ears and tails cause a lack of balance, disrupting the natural agility that the user has.
Increased Chakra Capacity - Kumiko has increased chakra capacity, allowing her to hold on longer than most in battle if she needs to constantly use abilities. This is a plus, seeing as the fox seems to mix up her style of fighting more often than not and it will cause some to wonder why.
Expertise Training: Katon - With how her kekkei genkai works correlated to her katon nature, Kumiko took it upon her to make sure to train herself in the best way she could in katon nature, making her relation between katon and tsuton that much more powerful.
