After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.
OOC Name: Jasmin Character name & profile:Tama Kumiko
Details:
Took me a while to get this started but here goes! Taking an old idea and adapting it is always fun. So fun that preparing myself mentally to make this char took me almost a month.
The Tama clan had been a wandering, non affiliated kind of clan that roamed the lands for generations, usually working as hired hand or as entertainers. Wielders of an unique ability to their clan and an unique appearance, most of the times they were seen as almost tainted by Kurama in some way, shape or form. It was the generation before Kumiko that actually helped out the village of Kumogakure in a moment of need and with that they gained permission to actually settle down in the land.
Members of the Tama clan became teachers, advisers, cooks, artisans, etc... they flourished happily in the lands and soon enough the generation that Kumiko belongs to started to form as they had families. For the longest time they were still suffering under the grasp of the ideals of others thinking they were still some kind of bearers of bad luck until a couple of their members became heavily known for things they performed.
Among those was Kumiko, only twenty two at the time when she started to show to people that the Tama clan were not something to be feared but that they were here to help. Helping uncover a rather large smuggling ring, the girl spent a lot of time working from ANBU to ANBU Captain at the time until the fall of the Raikage. Being twenty seven at the time she was surprised when asked to take up the spot but happilly took it to prove not just to her village but to every other single one that just because you're similar looking to one of the tailed beasts you are not something to be feared. That and she aims to set an example for her clan, which she was recently given leadership of by the elders.
That said, Kumiko's still young to being a Kage and I wish her to be young so that she can live to mature in character and not just make one of those Kage's that have had the position for a while and know what the heck they're doing. I mean someone needs to be the newbie at times.
