Doton Universal Jutsu

Just some miscellaneous Doton jutsu that people might enjoy. Some canon, some of my own creation. Letsago!

Doton: Gansetsukon [Earth Release: Rock Section Cane]

This technique allows the user to take a small chunk of rock and turn it into the shape of a staff. The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. Furthermore, the overall shape of the staff can be altered to give it a point, or even make it into an axe. 

Doton: Kosho [Earth Release: Arsenal]

This jutsu decreases or eliminates the number of projectile weaponry that a shinobi must carry on them. By sending their chakra into the earth similarly to Gansetsukon, the user in question is able to form much smaller arms. Shuriken, Kunai, and Senbon are among the most common weapons created with this technique. More complex weapons can be created as well, but those require a bit more chakra than the basic tools. 

Doton: Shinjū Zanshu no Jutsu [Doton: Double Suicide Decapitation Technique]

This technique conceals the user underground and drags the object of their attack down into the earth, robbing them of their freedom. Leaving them completely unable to move after they're underground. In addition, they can start another attack.

Doton: Doryū Taiga [Earth Release: Earth Flow River]

After forming the needed hand seal, the user transforms the ground underneath their opponent into a river of mud that throws them off balance and away from the user.

Doton: Ganchūrō no Jutsu [Earth Release: Rock Pillar Prison Technique]
C || Ninjutsu || Doton || Mid || All

This technique creates a large amount of rock pillars from under ground. They can then be controlled to surround their opponent and create a bamboo-like thicket of rock.

Doton: Kumonosu  [Earth Release: Spiderweb]
C || Ninjutsu || Doton || Mid || All

By gathering chakra in their mouths, the user is able to create a sticky cement-like substance that greatly resembles that of a spider's web. By expelling the substance outward, they are able to trap their opponents by wrapping it around them. Furthermore, the user is able to choose when to harden the projectile. If they harden it after the target it caught, it makes it difficult to escape while hardening it before impact creates a solid projectile of pain.

Doton: Tsuchi Kage Bushin no Jutsu  [Earth Release: Earth Shadow Clone Technique]

This technique creates a clone made of mud of the user. Since its made of mud, it can continue to reform and mold itself back to its original shape.

Doton: Tsuchi Tsunami [Earth Release: Earth Tsunami]
B || Ninjutsu || Doton || Mid-Long || Offensive

By slamming their foot into the ground, the user of this technique disrupts the surface tension like one would a puddle of water. The resulting ripple causes the earth to rise and begin to form a wave that grows larger as it progresses. The user can choose to collapse the wave at any time, and can also ride atop it for fast traveling.

Doton: Doryūkatsu [Earth Release: Earth Flow Divide]

By flowing concentrated chakra from one's palms into the Dragon Veins (龍脈, Ryūmyaku) flowing underground, one can tear the earth apart, creating large chasms. The length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm are all up to the user. Manipulating the Dragon Veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defences, and even to attack.
