After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.

"And it finds me. The fight inside is coursing through my veins. And it's raging. The fight inside is breaking me again." ~RED - Fight Inside~
Pain. This was all the redhead knew and understood before blacking out. Oh why did miss Hitomi turn out to be so mean? She seemed so nice, and even gave him food. It had been fine until he followed her to the basement. That was when the innocent boy found out just how bad the woman could be.
She dug into his skin with a knife, getting frustrated and more violent when he wouldn't be so easy to cut. The woman was persistent, resorting to more drastic measures when her simplistic solutions failed to produce the results she wanted. Naturally this put the boy in a lot of pain which caused him to go berserk. He was no match for the jounin, and she easily incapacitated him for a short time with blows to his rib cage.
After than he was thrown out. Something about not wanting him to tear up her house or something. Now the boy was in her yard, bleeding, broken, and beating on her door. That poor door had become the object of his rage, having come in between him and his real objective.

The bow that was normally on Yuu's back was replaced instead by a heavy strap around the shoulder holding his medical kit. The psycho woman had called him to inform him of what she'd done to the newcomer. What a friendly way to welcome someone into the village. Reaching Konoe's home, Yuu found a redhead beating on the door, looking worse for the wear. The medic hadn't expected him to have so much vigor, but the male fit the description.
“Hey!” he called, “Are you Zain?”
...and mine's not, there is no way I can lose.

"And it finds me. The fight inside is coursing through my veins. And it's raging. The fight inside is breaking me again." ~RED - Fight Inside~
As the boy heard a voice behind him, he stopped hitting the door. He turned giving the newcomer a resentful glare. With a growl he rushed the medic, tackling him to the ground. From this distance the Kamizuru would be able to hear him wheezing through his enraged panting. The genin let out a throaty roar in the medic's face before starting to throw punches.
This wasn't because he had anything against the medic. In fact, the man was probably there to help him, but the boy was not in control of himself. He had been hurt, and his blood was boiling. If he couldn't get back at the woman who had caused him such distress, he would have to move on to the next best thing. Whether the newcomer would understand this or not was unknown, but it didn't matter to Zain at the moment.

Yuu immediately moved in reverse when he was rushed, unable to turn and flee out of surprise. His back hit the ground heavily and the bag fell away from him, flinching when the smaller male let out a roar into his face. Arms going up to protect his face as the blows pummeled into him, Yuu wondered what the hell he did. Uncovering his face for a moment, Yuu latched onto the boy's arms and grit his teeth, forehead smashing into the redhead's. Through ringing ears he did handseals, then touched the boy's temple, where he went completely limp, shoving him off.
“Holy shit, kid,” he said, spitting the blood from his split lip. It wasn't the first time Yuu'd met injured shinobi who were aggressive, but this guy took it to the next level. “Calm down, I'm here to help.” Jutsu Used:

Rather suddenly their two skulls crashed together, disorienting the genin and causing him to try and blink the distortion in his vision away. Then his body fell limp, ceasing to function offensively. His body sprawled unceremoniously as he was dumped on the ground.
The jutsu had prevented him from moving, but it didn't stop him from trying. Lying on his back, breathing was difficult and all he could really do at this point was glare up at the Chuunin. The boy let out a low, wavering growl. If he could move he would certainly be attacking.

Yuu licked his lip absently, shifting Zain so that he lay properly onto his back, then placed his ear against the boy's chest. Breathing was ragged even with pain eliminated. There was a lot of blood, it looked like stab wounds. At least three ribs had to be damaged by the placement of the cuts. What the fuck was this woman doing? Pulling a knife from his vest, Yuu cut up the middle of the ruined fabric. Pulling it over Zain's head would just further aggravate his injuries, and he pulled the cloth away and tossed it to the side.
He paused for a heartbeat, noticing the scaly abrasions covering the male's hide. He'd never seen anything like this before; did Konoe do that to him? Skin was the last thing he needed to be worried about though, and he pushed it out of his mind in favor of the bleeding, open wounds. Pulling open his kit, Yuu located bottles with pills, crushing a blood pill to sprinkle into the redhead's mouth and directly into the bigger wounds. It would promote creation of blood cells and clotting, to compensate for what was already lost. After giving him a bit of water to encourage him to swallow the ground-up pill, he went through more handseals.
The Hayai Chiyu technique would increase the production of blood platelets on top of the effects of the blood pill, rushing them to the wounds. It would get the smaller ones to stop bleeding more quickly while he worked on the larger ones. Crossing his hands over Zain's chest, Yuu began pouring his healing chakra into him. The chakra would cling to the other boy's chakra system and carry it throughout his body to help heal the injuries. The stab wounds were too large to heal that way, but it was a start, and after a few minutes, the effects were beginning to show.
Digging in his kit more, Yuu withdrew a curved needle and suture thread to sew up the wounds good enough for transport without them tearing more. Unfortunately, when he went to start the stitching, he found the needle wouldn't go into the skin. In fact, he ended up bending the damn thing pushing. Cursing, he tossed it away. Putting his thumb into his palm, the Kamizuru summoned a single suzumebachi, instructing it to engorge on honey.
Carefully handling the creature, he had it spit the glue-like honey into the wounds where it would act as a sealant, closing the area and drying to keep more blood from leaking out. Satisfied, he released to bee to its own devices, running his hands along the male's ribcage to locate the broken ribs. Thankfully, it appeared that none of them were broken through, judging by the way there was no more give than normal. They were just cracked. That would be a lot easier to mend. Altering the healing chakra he used, he worked on mending the bone. It would be brittle along the fault lines but smoothed over once finished. It would take natural healing to get back to 100%.
Hovering, Yuu checked the male over. All that was really left to address was the skin, which was nothing like the medic had ever seen before. Every inch of the redhead was covered in the callouses. After a moment, Yuu realized they were arranged in a pattern not unlike the scales of a snake. So perhaps it wasn't done by Konoe, but it would be something worth asking for later. Digging in the bag once more, he withdrew acetemitophin, administering the oral pain medication with a drink of water, easing it down Zain's throat. Then, he sat back on his heels, waiting.
“The stall-out will wear off relatively shortly. There will still be pain but I gave you medicine for it. If you decide you're gonna fight me again I will incapacitate you again and carry you to the hospital. Otherwise, we walk.” Items Used:

As much as he wanted to tear into the medic, Zain's body failed to respond. During the treatment of his wounds the boy kept up a steady background rumble in protest to the paralysis. The noise only paused when he had to choke down the blood pill. Even then his glare was persistent.
Near the end of the treatment, the growling started to die down as the genin began to become aware again. His eyes fluttered drowsily and lost focus for a few seconds before he started blinking and taking in the situation. The first thing he noticed was a purple haired male leaning over him doing something. The boy tried to ask who he was, but quickly realized he couldn't. Nor could he move or even feel anything.
It was a really frightening experience, making him wonder just how badly he screwed up. His face turned flush when he saw his shirt had been removed. That made him feel extremely awkward. He tried to pull away from the man when the medication was given to him, but was forced to swallow or drown on the water.
Slowly he regained feeling in his body and was able to manage simple movements. The boy was shaking, first it was miss Hitomi being mean and now there was this guy. The harsh pain from the recent wounds had faded to a dull ache. At the mention of the hospital he sat up, wincing and grunting at the pain in his torso.
"W-who are you?" He asked, turning to the medic. Zain noticed that his lip had been cut."Did I...? I'm sorry..." Carefully the genin stood up the rest of the way. After what just happened with miss Hitomi he wasn't sure about the guy. He raised a hand to where one of his wounds was, feeling the hardened honey. He glanced down and scratched at it, it was itchy around the edges.

"W-who are you?" Oh, he speaks. "Did I...? I'm sorry..."
Yuu pulled Zain's hand away from the honey he scratched at.
“Kamizuru Yuu, medic. I was called here to take care of you. That woman is psychotic, I recommend staying away from her from now on.”
Yuu eased himself properly to his feet, extending a hand in greeting.
“Don't worry about it,” he said, smiling despite the split lip. “I've dealt with more difficult patients than you. Let's get you to the hospital so you can be treated properly.”

Zain pulled away from the man, taking a step back when his hand was grasped. He relaxed a little when he introduced himself as a medic. Miss Hitomi is... what...? He blinked. "Yeah, she was mean..." He responded to the part about staying away from her. When the Kamizuru extended his hand, the boy looked at it for a second. He wasn't sure what he wanted.
Hesitantly he mimicked the motion, hoping that was the proper response. Zain was glad to hear he hadn't done anything too drastic while he was out. The man said he was going to take him to the hospital, so the boy eased up a bit more. "I was s'posed to be there a while ago... but then I got lost..." He frowned. That was when he found miss Hitomi. She offered to take him, but look how that turned out.

Yuu raised a brow at the taller male, grasping the hesitant hand to shake. This one seemed people-shy, though after Konoe, Yuu didn't quite blame him. Looking at him, Yuu noticed that the guy's red eyes had slitted pupils kind of like Chi's rather than like normal people. This piqued his interest; perhaps it had to do with the bumps on his skin, too? A lot about Zain seemed pretty unhealthy. Good thing Yuu was getting him to help. He pointed off in a direction.
“It's out that way. C'mon, I'll take you there.”

It seemed like he didn't have much of a choice but to trust the guy. He needed to get to the hospital some way or another, and he did say he was a medic... Shakily he followed the man in the direction he had indicated, trying not to cause himself any unexpected pain spikes as he moved. It probably wouldn't be good if he blacked out again.
After a while he looked to his company. "Um... Yuu, what did you call miss Hitomi? Psy... psy... um..." The genin blanked. Words weren't exactly his strong suit, but the more he knew the easier it would get in the future. After hearing the answer to that, he noticed that the medic's eyes were different colors. "Your eyes look funny."

"Um... Yuu, what did you call miss Hitomi? Psy... psy... um..."
“Psychotic,” the chuunin supplied. “It means she's crazy.”
It seemed the male was a lot more compliant now, and it was a lot easier to work with him to get him towards the hospital.
"Your eyes look funny."
Yuu blinked his checkered eyes. It was by far not the first time he'd heard that, it was more a matter of which pre-prepared bullshit reasoning he'd use. In the end, he just decided on a rebuttle.
“So do yours.”

Psychotic. There was that word again. Zain probably wouldn't remember it, but he would recognize it and know the meaning now. "She was nice until we went downstairs..." He frowned again, absentmindedly scratching at the honey again.
The sun began to set as they continued on their way. "At least mine are the same..." Zain muttered in response to the Kamizuru's rebuttal. He didn't mean anything by his comment, he was just curious.

"She was nice until we went downstairs..."
Yut put his left hand in his pocket, right hand going to Zain's back as they walk out of habit when walking with someone who'd been hurt. If they fell, it was easier to catch them if a hand was already on their back.
“You just gotta be more careful around people. Better safe than sorry.”
Yu ignored the comment about the eyes, positive it wasn't intended to be heard aloud.
“We're almost there; let's get you checked in. What's your full name?”

Zain tensed when he felt the hand make contact with his back. He wasn't exactly comfortable around Yuu yet, especially after taking miss Hitomi into account. Still his words were mildly consoling, but they could easily be applied to the man himself in this situation.
When he was asked about his full name, the boy didn't know how to respond. "Zain... just Zain..." He responded, eyes shifting a little. This wasn't exactly true, he knew he must have had a surname at some point, but the truth was he couldn't remember. It was a long forgotten memory from before he went feral. One didn't exactly need to know their last name in order to survive.
