After the Fourth Great Shinobi World War ended, the world was experiencing a time of peace. The villages for once were able to live in relative harmony with one another as they rebuilt, and for once, all seemed to be well. The kage were able to live peaceful lives and soon began retiring, passing on the baton to the next generations. That is until an unknown virus infects the northern coast. The first to fall is the once powerful Raikage, Ay. While many thought this virus was a simple mutation of what may have well been the flu, no one would ever think of the destruction it would cause. Especially when it infected a certain Uzumaki Naruto.
With his death came the malice; with the malice came the destruction; with the destruction came the shinobi' revolt; and with the revolt came the sacrifices. The Bijuu became filled with malice that they sought to destroy the world. Shinobi sought a way to fight them and once again capture each of the Bijuu. Time passed, and a plan was devised. The Jinchuuriki would be sacrificed for the greater good of the world, and with the deaths of nine individuals, an uneasy peace began.
As time continued, the villages began to truly restructure. In a peace that would last 80 years after the downfall of the Bijuu, the world would see the creation of a great many things. Technology was beginning to take root and before long the blossoms that grew from the tree of the advanced mind would bear fruit. A many great things came to be. A railroad between the vast many nations. Mechanical limbs to replace lost ones. Radios that could reach between villages. Everything seemed to be becoming less reliant on the shinobi. Only the need for them never truly vanished. As with the growth of time, also continued the growth of malice.

He really didn't know how he got roped into this, well he did know how, he just didn't know why he couldn't say no. This morning he decided to pay his usual visit to Yuu's place and the moment he walked in he was given the responsibility of showing Chiyoko around the village. When he asked Yuu why he couldn't do it the reply was simply "I have medical stuff to do". As if showing the little kitty didn't come before medical stuff, Yuu invited her to live with him for a while anyway.
Oh well, no point in arguing, besides if she was going to live with Yuu the wolf and cat might as well learn how to get along as well as get to know each other. They did sort of shared a house with Yuu now anyway. "Hey Chi, you ready to go? Hurry up or I'm leaving ya." The blonde called as he waited in the open doorway of Yuu's home for the cat girl to finish up getting ready for a day out in the village.

Chi was in the bathroom, brushing her own tail for once, when Okami arrived. "You can't leave without me, silly Oka-nii," she called back to him, giggling. Setting the brush down, she meandered through the kitchen trying to find something good to eat. Coming up depressingly empty-handed, she shrugged and decided she'd make Okami treat her to breakfast somewhere.
Eventually, she made her way to the door, and pounced on the chuunin, licking his cheek in greeting. "Oka-nii, I'm hungry. Take me somewhere for breakfast~"

"Hm yeah, Yuu would kill me if I left ya alone. We might never see ya again." The blonde replied with a sly grin. As the little kitten ran up to him and told him she wanted to go somewhere for breakfast Okami thought of any good places to go to. He had never really gone out for breakfast but he knew a few places that served one hell of an omelet with some exquisite bacon. It was worth a shot to get Chi used to other foods than...feathers.
"I know a great place, hope your in the mood for eggs and pancakes, c'mon." Grabbing her hand the wolf lead the kitten to a quaint little restaurant where he got a table just for the both of them as the waiter led them to it and handed them menus. "So what looks good to you Chi? Pancakes...Bacon...maybe some eggs?"

Chi stuck out her tongue at him. She wasn't that bad. Although, admittedly, the last time she had gone somewhere alone she'd been touched inappropriately and came home bleeding and half-naked. So maybe it was a good thing that Okami was supervising today. Even if she didn't have much faith in how good he would be at supervising.
Chi observed the menu at the restaurant, frowning. Apparently, she couldn't just get a giant plate of bacon and sausage. That was disappointing. "Uhm... uhm... I wanna try the blueberry pancakes. And I want, like, five sides of sausage, and some bacon too. And tea and a glass of milk," she decided, nodding her head. She sure hoped Okami had a lot of money, because the catgirl wasn't exactly cheap.

As the little kitty made her order Okami just stared at her wide eyed. Was she seriously going to eat all of that food? Sure Okami himself ate a lot too sometimes but Chi's appetite was on a whole different level from his. Good thing he managed to save up a lot of his mission wages. "Uh...I'll have blueberry pancakes, some french toast, chocolate milk, and a side of eggs please." With a nod and a bit of a raised eyebrow the waiter wrote down their order and walked off, leaving the wolf and cat alone for a while. "That's a lot of food you wanted there Chi, I guess Yuu doesn't feed you enough when I'm around huh? He has been feeding you hasn't he?"

A blank stare met his statement, the girl not understanding why he thought her order to be strange. After a few moments, she realized that it was kind of odd to see someone of her size eat so much food. "I like meat," she explained. "A lot. An' I have to eat a lot of it or I won't be healthy. It's a cat thing."
Chi giggled a little when he asked if Yuu was feeding her. "No, he doesn't feed me. I feed myself 'cause I cook better than he does." A pause. "Well, he did make sandwiches one night, but we never ate 'em 'cause we were too busy havin' sex." Blurting that out to an entire restaurant wasn't inappropriate in her mind. Mostly because she'd never had anyone to teach her what was and wasn't appropriate.

Eat a lot and be healthy? That made sense but she could learn how to cut down on portions, at least that's what Okami thought to himself. As the waiter came with their drinks he began to sip some of his Chocolate Milk while Chi was telling him how she did most of the cooking aside from the time they had sex. Wait. Not wanting to spit out his milk like some fucking cliche Okami tried to swallow it, only to choke on it as he began coughing like made before spurting out the words, "YOU TWO DID WHAT? WHEN?! WHY?!" He really did not see that coming.

Chi was quite alarmed when the boy began choking on his milk. At his shout, she flinched back, ears flattened against her head. Sheesh, what was wrong with him? "Can ya not yell?" she asked grumpily. "It hurts m' ears."
And then she processed what he'd shouted. Why did he want to know that? Her imagination brought to mind the thought that maybe Oka-nii had wanted to have sex with Yuu and he was mad that she had gotten to him first. That would be kind of sad, really. But she just shrugged and answered him. "I was in heat an' it was drivin' me crazy. So Yuu fixed it for me. It just kinda happens that the only was to fix 'at is sex."

She wasn't serious was she? The words she chose to explain herself made it sound like she was just spouting nothing but lies. But she wouldn't lie about something like that would she? Well...guess he was about to find out. "So...in heat... and Yuu was...okay with it? Like he didn't say no or freak out or anything at all?"

"Well... he kinda freaked out a little at first, 'cause he didn't know what to do... But then I sat on him naked and rubbed against him and he was fine with it," she explained in a nonchalant tone, like it wasn't a big deal at all. "It was fun. I didn't know he could make some o' those noises..." Chi grinned at him, as if this were a perfectly normal conversation and she wasn't describing to the boy how she slept with his best friend.

"Wow...I...wow. I always thought Yuu was such a tight ass about doing it with something. What with his whole...you know thing going on I thought he wouldn't be into anyone till he was like thirty or something." It was sure of a surprise that of all people Yuu would lose his virginity too it was to a cat girl that was also a member of his clan. Boy that must have been one weird realization, maybe he could use that to blackmail him one day. "Noises eh? yeah I bet he made some interesting ones, did he say anything after you guys finished doing it?" He asked with a sly smile as their food was brought to the table and the wolf took a bite out of his breakfast, the smile still on his face as he awaited all the details Chi could give him.

Chi gave him another blank look. A tight ass? What did that have anything to do with having sex? She hadn't gone near his butt, so why did it matter? Oka-nii was weird. "Well, maybe he just never had anyone he wanted to do anythin' with before," the catgirl suggested. "An' now he does."
Chi stuffed a sausage link into her mouth and chewed, contemplating his question. "Well, he said we could be dating if I wanted to be. So I told him I wanted to date him. After that he didn't say much, he just petted my ears till we fell asleep."

Why did it feel like she was mocking him? Or was that just in his head? It probably was, perhaps deep down he wished he would have been the one to help Yuu down the road of losing his virginity. That wasn't a creepy thought was it? Probably not.
Although the announcement that Chi and Yuu were dating sure struck Okami's heart pretty badly, although he had to hand Yuu props for getting with a girl who he just met, although weren't they sort of related? He probably should avoid asking that question, if he did Yuu would probably give him a bee to the face to shut him up. "Well, congrats on you two dating. Who would have thunk that the two of you would hit it off so well. Just try not to break him or anything Chi, he is sort of our caretaker." He said as he finished off his toast and eggs and began to dig into his pancakes. "So know that that bit of news is over we should plan the rest of today. So after we finish here where would you like to go Chi? Do some shopping, maybe see some of the sights?"

Chi studied the boy’s face as she munched on her sausage links, wondering what he thought of those revelations. Yuu had told her that he and Okami had been best friends for a long time, and Okami probably still knew more about the medic than she did. From what he had said before, it seemed that Yuu had always been kinda shy (she certainly understood why, after the talks they’d had) and never seemed interested in relationships. Her arrival, and her penchant for affection, had changed that.
She puffed up at the boy’s remark, crossing her arms over her chest. “I’m not going to break him. I’m more gentle with him than you are, that’s for sure.” If anything, Yuu was more likely to break her; he’d gotten pretty into the tail-pulling, and with his strength, he could absolutely dislocate it if he pulled hard enough. Not that he would ever do so on purpose, but still, accidents happened.
The catgirl cut into her pancakes, taking a small, tentative bite. Yum. They were soft and fluffy and filled with one of the few fruits she enjoyed. Eying her sausages, cut off a piece of pancake large enough to wrap around a link, and ate it that way. She felt like she’d discovered something new and amazing.
She broke out of her pancake exploration when Okami questioned her. “Uhm… Let’s go shopping somewhere, Oka-nii!”

"Hey I'm gentle with him, he's just too fragile to handle me alright?" It was the guy's own fault for nothing gaining a bit of upper body strength after all the times they've sparred together. Seriously he should just take Yuu's bow and make him fight for it back, he should also figure how out how to disable his bees so he couldn't use them against the wolf boy. That would suck.
As he finished his food and was drinking the rest of his drink the cat girl told him that she wanted to go shopping. It would give him an excuse to looking around for some things he needed himself. "Alright, shopping it is. What sort of stores you wanna hit first Chi? Need some new clothes, gift to send to you folks back home, or did Yuu leave us a grocery list we need to fill out?"
